Product Usage Instructions
Step 1: Remove Rear Shocks
- Remove lower shock hardware.
- Remove upper shock hardware.
- Remove shock from vehicle. Note: Do not discard hardware.
Step 2: Reservoir Mount Install
- Attach the reservoir mount to the frame using the center hole on the mount and the existing frame hole near the shock mount.
- Use the mount as a guide to mark and drill additional holes into the frame as indicated.
- c. Secure the reservoir mount to the frame rail with the included hardware and tighten to 20ft lbs.
Step 3: Install Dirt King Shock
- Install upper shock into mount and torque hardware to 18ft lbs. Driver side reservoir hose should be routed towards the rear of the vehicle. Passenger side reservoir hose should be routed towards the front of the vehicle.
- Install lower shock hardware and torque to 43ft lbs.
Important: Upper mount must be installed and torqued to spec before installing to the lower mount.
Step 4: Mount Shock Reservoir
- Install shock reservoir into mount. Close clamps to secure in place.
- Torque socket head bolts to 12ft lbs.
Step 5: Inspect your work
- Thoroughly go over your work.
- Repeat steps for the opposite side of the vehicle.
- Reinstall wheels and torque lug nuts to your wheel manufacturer’s specs.
