The TV brackets must be flush on the bump and leveled by spacers on the gap.

Option D: For TVs with Protruding Cables

Option E: For TVs with Recessed Holes

Step 2 Assemble the Wall Plate (Optional)
Option A)
16″ (406mm) wood stud spacing and TV VESA Pattern:
200 x 1 00mm-400 x 400mm

Option B
 18-24″ (457mm-610mm) wood stud spacing and TV VESA Pattern: 200 x 100mm-600 x 400mm

Step 3 Mount the Wall Plate or Wall Plate with Extender on the Wall
Option A: For wood studs, follow Page 12-13.
Option B: For solid concrete or brick walls, follow Page 14.

Use a stud finder to locate wood studs or use an awl to find the edges. Mark the edge and center locations.
Position the wall plate or wall plate with extender [03] & [04] at your desired height and line up the holes with your stud centerline. Level the wall plate [03] or wall plate with extender [03] & [04] and mark the holes.

NOTE: Be sure to drill into  the center of the studs.

Drill 4 pilot holes using a 5/32″ (4mm) diameter drill bit. Make sure the depth is NOT less than 2 3/8″ (60mm). Install the wall plate [03] or wall plate with extender [03] & [04] using the lag screws [A1]. Tighten the lag screws [A1] only until they are pulled firmly against the wall plate.

Position the wall plate [03] or wall plate with extender [03] & [04] at your desired height. Level the wall plate and mark the pilot hole locations. Drill 4 pilot holes using a 3/8″ (10mm) diameter drill bit. Make sure the depth is NOT less than 2 3/5″ (65mm). NEVER drill into the mortar between bricks.

Use a hammer to tap the anchors [A2] into the wall. Be sure the anchors [A2] are seated flush with the concrete or brick surface. Mount the wall plate [03] or wall plate with extender [03] & [04] using the lag screws [A 1 ]. Tighten the lag screws [A 1] only until they are pulled firmly against the wall plate (DO NOT overtighten).

Step 4 Verify the Mount is Firmly Mounted on the Wall

Step 5 Set the Tilt Angle of the TV Brackets

Adjust the hooks on both TV brackets to the same desired angle. You may need to slightly loosen the tilt tension bolts [T]. Retighten tilt tension bolts [T] to secure the tilt angle. If you make the angle too large, the brackets may not flt over the wall plate.

Step 6 Hang the TV on the Wall Plate Assembly

  1. Hang the TV with brackets on the wall plate.
  2. Pull both cords [R] down to open the latches, then push them forward toward the wall. The latches should engage on the wall plate. Release the cords to lock the TV in place. If latches did not engage, pull the cords and try again.

Step 7 Remove the TV

To remove the TV, first disconnect all cables. Pull the cords [R] down and hold them while gently pulling the bottom of the TV away from the wall plate. Exerting too much force may cause the latches to break. Once the latches are free, lift the TV up and off of the wall plate.

Step 8 Tilt Adjustment

Tilt the TV to the desired angle. You may need to adjust the tilt tension bolts [T]. Do not overtighten or overloosen the bolts. If you cannot access the tilt tension bolts, you may need to remove the TV, adjust the tilt angle, then remount the TV.
