  • This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

  • Children shall not play with the product.

  • Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
      WARNING! Misuse may lead to injury. Use this product solely in accordance with these instructions. Do not attempt to modify the product in any way.

    In case of malfunction, repairs are to be conducted by qualified personnel only.

  • Do not drop the product to avoid damage to the product.

  • To prevent the product from overheating, never block the air inlet and air outlet during use.
      WARNING! Risk of  electric shock! Never use a damaged product. Disconnect the product from the power supply and contact your retailer if it is damaged.

  • Before connecting the product to the power supply, check that the voltage and current rating corresponds with the power supply details shown on the product’s rating label.

  • Regularly check the mains plug and the mains cord for damages. If the mains cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

  • Protect the mains cord against damages. Do not let it hang over sharp edges, do not squeeze or bend it. Keep the mains cord away from hot surfaces and open flames.

  • For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.

  • The use of extension cords is not recommended. If the use of an extension cord is necessary, it must be designed for a current flow of at least 10 A. Lay cords in such a way that they may not be tripped over or otherwise damaged.
    WARNING! Risk of electric shock! Do not use this product near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.

  • The product must not be leftunattended while it is connected to the supply mains.

  • Do not operate the product with wet hands or while standing on a wet floor. Do not touch the mains plug with wet hands. Do not pull the mains plug out of the electrical outlet by the mains cord. Do not wrap the mains cord around the product. Protect the product, its mains cord and mains plug against dust, direct sunlight, dripping and splashing water.
    Switch off the product before

    • changing attachments,
    • cleaning,
    • disconnecting the product from the power supply.
  • When the product is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the product is switched off. No action is needed from users to shift the product between 50 and 60 Hz. The product adapts itself for both 50 and 60 Hz.

  • Incorrect setting of the dual voltage selector will damage the product.

  • Do not use any attachment which is not provided by the manufacturer.

Before first use

  • Remove the packaging. Check if all parts are complete.

    Operation
  1. Before connecting the product to the mains supply: Set the dual voltage selector [8] to the voltage suitable for your current location.

  2. Connect the mains plug [6] to a suitable mains outlet.

  3. Select the desired air flow/heat level:

    • Strong air flow

  4. After use: Slide the 0/I/II switch [5] to position 0 to switch off the product.

  5. Disconnect the mains plug [6] from the mains outlet.

  6. Let the product cool down completely.
    NOTE: In the event of overheating, the product switches off automatically.
    In this case, slide the 0/I/II switch [5 to position 0 and disconnect the mains plug [6] from the mains outlet.

CAUTION! Risk of burns!

  • Do not touch the air outlet [1] when the product is switched on and the air outlet is still hot.
  • Do not touch or remove the concentrator nozzle [2] when it is still hot

SymbolNOTE: We recommend to use gentle air flow and low heat level when styling hair.

  1. Attach the concentrator nozzle [2] to the air outlet [1]. Rotate the concentrator nozzle to adjust its orientation, if necessary.
  2. Switch on the product. Use the concentrator nozzle [2] to direct the air flow onto a specific section of the hair.
  3. Removing the concentrator nozzle [2] from the air outlet [1]: Pull the concentrator nozzle off with a downward motion.

Using the cooling mode

  • After styling the hair: Use the cooling mode to make the hairstyle last longer.
  • The cooling mode can only be selected when the product is switched on.
  • Use the button [3] to switch the cooling mode on or off:

Cleaning and care

WARNING! Risk of electric shock!

  • Always switch off the product and disconnect the mains plug [6] from the mains outlet before cleaning the product.

  • Do not immerse the product’s electrical components in water or other liquids. Never hold the product under running water.
      CAUTION! Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents or material to clean the product.

  • Remove the concentrator nozzle [2] from the air outlet [1

Cleaning the housing and concentrator nozzle

  • Wipe the housing and the concentrator nozzle [2] with a slightly damp cloth.
  • For stubborn soiling, add a mild cleaning agent on the cloth.
  • Dry all parts thoroughly.

Cleaning the air inlet

  • Wipe the air inlet [10] with a dry cloth.

Storage

  • Store the product at a cool, dry place, protected from moisture and out of the reach of children.

Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.

Warranty

The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and meticulously examined before delivery. In the event of material or manufacturing defects you have legal rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal rights are not limited in any way by our warranty detailed below.

The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date of purchase. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Keep the original sales receipt in a safe location as this document is required as proof of purchase.

Any damage or defects already present at the time of purchase must be reported without delay after unpacking the product. Should the product show any fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace it – at our choice – free of charge to you. The warranty period is not extended as a result of a claim being granted. This also applies to replaced and repaired parts.

This warranty becomes void if the product has been damaged, or used or maintained improperly.

The warranty covers material or manufacturing defects. This warranty does not cover product parts subject to normal wear and tear, thus considered consumables (e.g. batteries, rechargeable batteries, tubes, cartridges), nor damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches or glass parts.

To ensure quick processing of your claim, observe the following instructions:

Make sure to have the original sales receipt and the item number (IAN 444847_2307) available as proof of purchase.

You can find the item number on the rating plate, an engraving on the product, on the front page of the instruction manual (bottom left), or as a sticker on the rear or bottom of the product. If functional or other defects occur, contact the service department listed below either by telephone or by e-mail.

Once the product has been recorded as defective you can return it free of charge to the service address that will be provided to you. Ensure to enclose the proof of purchase (sales receipt) and a short, written description outlining the details of the defect and when it occurred.
