ATTENTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!

  • Do not leave the appliance on when you are not preparing food. Switch it off during longer breaks and do not switch it on again until you want to continue cooking.

Using the wok pans

WARNING! RISK OF FIRE!

  • Never place aluminium foil or other materials between the hotplate 1 and the wok pans 5. This can cause irreparable damage to the appliance. There is also a risk of fire.
  1. Place the wok pans 5 into the round hobs 2. Make sure that the wok pans 5 are standing safely and upright in the recesses.
  2. Add a little oil or fat to the wok pans 5 and heat them briefly.
  3. Place the desired ingredients into the wok pans 5 and cook them according to your preferences. Use the wooden spatulas 6 provided to turn the food.

ATTENTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!

  • Do not cut food or its ingredients in the wok pans 5. If you use metal cutlery, the non-stick coating of the wok pans 5 will be scratched and become unusable.

Remove the wok pans 5 from the appliance as soon as the ingredients are cooked.

WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!

  • Apart from the insulated handles, the wok pans 5 are very hot! Therefore, only touch them by the handle!
  • Place the wok pans 5 only on heat-resistant surfaces.
  • Use a wooden spatula 6 to push the contents of the wok pan 5 onto your plate. You can now refill the wok pans 5 and put them back on the hotplate 1.

Using the hobs

You can also use the appliance to cook crêpes or thin pancakes directly on the hobs 2.

  1. Coat or brush the hobs 2 with a little fat or oil.

  2. Pour the batter for the crêpes or pancakes into the hobs 2 with the ladle 7.

NOTE

  • Do not fill the ladle 7 beyond the marking. This allows you to optimally adjust the amount of batter to the capacity of the hobs 2. Nevertheless, make sure that liquid ingredients do not overflow over the edge.

ATTENTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!

  • The ladle 7 is not heat-resistant. Do not leave it on the hotplate 1. Never touch the hot hotplate 1 with the ladle. The plastic can melt at high temperatures.

Turn the crêpes or pancakes halfway through cooking with the wooden spatula 6.

NOTE

  • Remove any food residue that has stuck to the hobs 2 immediately using the wooden spatula 6 before preparing more food or placing the wok pans 5 on them.

ATTENTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!

  • Do not add sweet ingredients such as jam, syrup or sugar to the hobs 2. Add them after cooking, i.e. when the crêpes are on the plates. Sugary ingredients can burn and make cleaning difficult. They may also damage the appliance.
  • Do not use metal tools such as knives, forks, etc. when removing food from the hobs 2 or the wok pans 5 as they can damage the non-stick coating. If the non-stick coating is damaged, stop using the appliance.

After cooking

When you have finished using the appliance, switch it off by pressing the On/Off switch 4. Remove the plug from the mains socket and allow the appliance to cool down completely.

Cleaning and care

DANGER! ELECTRIC SHOCK!

  • Before cleaning the appliance, disconnect the power plug from the mains power socket! There is a risk of electric shock!
  • Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids!

WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!

  • Always allow the hotplate 1 and the wok pans 5 to cool down before cleaning them. There is a risk of burns!

ATTENTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!

  • Do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaning materials. These can irreparably damage the surfaces and render the non-stick coating unusable.

NOTE

  • It is best to clean the appliance as soon as it has cooled down. This makes it easier to remove food residues.

The ladle 7 is dishwasher-safe. We recommend placing it in the top basket of the dishwasher and making sure it does not get caught.

  1. Use the wooden spatula 6 to remove as much food residue as possible from the wok pans 5.
  2. Clean the wok pans 5, the wooden spatula 6 and the ladle 7 thoroughly in warm water with a little washing up liquid. For stubborn residues, soak the wok pans 5 in warm washing-up water. Rinse them off afterwards with fresh water. Do not leave the wooden spatulas 6 to soak in dishwater and do not clean them in the dishwasher.
  3. Clean the hotplate 1 and the surface of the appliance with a damp sponge or cloth. If necessary, apply a mild detergent to the cloth and wipe off after-wards with a cloth moistened only with water. Dry everything properly.
  4. Ensure that all parts are completely dry before putting the appliance away or operating it again.
