They contain important information for safety, use and disposal. Prior to the product use, make yourself familiar with all instructions for use and safety. This unit is suitable for circulating air in dry indoor spaces. Any other use or modification of the unit is considered improper and involves a considerable risk of accident. Danger to life by electrical current!
Contacting the live cables or components is dangerous to your life!

  • Do not use the appliance if the mains adapter or plug is damaged. Never open the housing of the unit. If live connections are touched and/or the electrical and mechanical construction is changed, there is a risk of electric shock!
  • Before connecting the unit, compare the connection data on the type plate (voltage and frequency) with the data of your electrical network. Make sure that the data match so that no damage occurs to the unit.
  • Make sure that the mains adapter is undamaged and not laid over hot surfaces and/or sharp edges.
  • Make sure that the mains adapter is not bent or pinched. Repairs to electrical appliances may only be carried out by spe-cialists who have been trained by the manufacturer. Improper re-pairs can cause considerable danger to the user.

General Safety Instructions

  • Check the unit for external, visible damage before use. Do not operate a damaged or dropped unit.
  • This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental ca-pabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.
  • Check the item for completeness and function before commissioning. Do not operate a dropped unit.
  • Do not use the product if you notice any visible damage.
  • The unit must be placed on a firm, flat and level floor.
  • Only have repairs to the unit carried out by authorised specialist com-panies or customer service. Improper repairs can cause considerable danger to the user. In addition, the warranty claim will expire. Defective components may only be replaced with original spare parts. Only these parts guarantee that the safety requirements are met. Protect the unit from moisture and the ingress of liquids.
  • Only pull the mains adapter out of the socket by the plug.
  • Do not operate the appliance near naked flames.
  • Do not place the unit directly below or above a wall socket.
  • In the event of malfunctions and during thunderstorms, pull the mains plug out of the socket.
  • Only operate the unit with the mains cable fully unwound. Never wrap the mains cable around the appliance. Make sure that the mains cable does not come into contact with hot surfaces. Lay the cable in such a way that you cannot trip over it.
  • The unit may only be operated with the supplied power supply unit (model AS3603A-2401500EU).
  • No user action is required to set the product to 50 or 60 Hz. The product automatically adjusts to the correct frequency or voltage. The terminals must not be short-circuited.

Information about batteries

Keep out of reach of children.
Swollowing can lead to injury, perforation of soft tissue and to death. Severe burns can occur within 2 hours of swallowing. Seek medical advice immediately.

  • Incorrect use of batteries may result in fire, explosion, leakage of dangerous substances, or other hazard!
  • Do not throw batteries into the fire and do not expose them to high temperatures.
  • Do not open, deform or short-circuit the batteries. Otherwise, the contained chemicals can leak out of them.
  • Do not try to recharge batteries. Recharging is only allowed for batteries which are marked as “rechargeable”. There is a danger of explosion!
  • Always remove rechargeable batteries from the device to charge them.
  • R egularly check the batteries. Leaking chemicals can cause heavy damage to the device. Dealing with damaged or leaking batteries, exercise a particular caution.
  • Risk of chemical burns! Wear protective gloves.
  • Chemicals escaping from a battery can cause skin irritation.
  • In case of contact with skin, rinse with much water. In case of contact with eyes, do not rub your eye, but rinse it with water and immediately visit a doctor.
  • Different types of batteries or accumulators as well as new and old batteries must not be used together.
  • When inserting the battery, pay especial attention to the correct polarity. Wrong polarity can cause risk of bursting.
  • Remove the batteries from the unit if you are not going to use it for a long time or if you want to store it.
  • Insert the batteries according to the polarity.
  • Do not allow children to replace batteries without supervision by an adult.
  • Always choose the right size and the right battery type for the intended use. The information sheet enclosed with the device which is meant to assist you in choosing the right batteries should be kept for reference.
  • Clean the battery contacts and also the contacts of the equipment before installing the batteries.
  • Remove used up batteries immediately.
  • Do not dismantle the batteries.
  • If the battery compartment does not close securely, do not use the remote control any more and keep it away from children. Please avoid extreme conditions and temperatures which can adversely affect the batteries/rechargeable batteries, e.g. placing them on radiators/direct solar radiation.

Before commissioning

Device Installation

Remove all packaging material and all trans-port bracing from the device.

For a safe and trouble-free running of the device, choose the installation location which meets the following requirements:

  • The floor should be firm, flat and horizontal. Minimum distances of 30 cm to the side, 30 cm to the top, 30 cm to the rear and 1 m to the front must be maintained from the enclosure.
  • Do not place the unit in a hot, wet or very humid environment.
  • The socket must be easily accessible so that the mains connection cable can be easily disconnected if necessary.
  • Temperature range: from 0 to +40 °C
  • Air humidity (no condensation): 5–75 %

Remote control: How to insert or change the battery

  • The remote control unit is delivered together with a lithium button cell 16 . To enable the remote control, remove the plastic tape that protrudes from the battery compartment 14 (see Figure 1).

  • Press the tab 15 on the battery compartment 14 of the remote control toward the centre. Now pull out the battery compartment 14 (see Figure 2).

  • Remove the old battery 16 .

  • Insert a new 3V-button-cell battery (type CR2025). Pay attention to the correct polarity.

  • Push the battery compartment 14 back into the remote control unit until the tab 15 snaps into place.

Starting Up

Standby mode

  • Connect the jack plug of the mains adapter 17 to the unit and then plug the mains adapter 17 into a socket. The unit is now supplied with pow-er. A short beep sounds.
  • “888” appears on the display 4 before a circle movement is displayed for approx. 10 seconds (charging process) when the unit starts up.

Control on the unit

Switch on the unit
Note: The keys have a signal tone feedback (for signal tones see point 6.7).

  • Press the key 1 to switch on the product. The unit starts directly in ventilation level “003” when it is first put into operation.
  • During further use, the unit starts at the same ventilation level that was selected during the last operation.
  • If the mains adapter 17 is unplugged in the meantime, the unit restarts in ventilation level “003”.
    Note: During operation, the display continues to light up for approx. 20 seconds before the display goes out and switches to standby mode.

Switch off the unit

To return the unit to standby mode after operation, press the button 1 .

NOTE: The unit switches off while the display 4 shows “000” for approx. 10 seconds and then also switches off.

Select operating mode

To change an operating mode, press the button 6 repeatedly until the desired mode is shown on the display 4  . You can choose between power, sleep and nature modes.

Selecting ventilation levels

  • Press the button 2 repeatedly to reach the ventilation level you want.
  • You can choose between 20 different ventilation levels.
  • The desired ventilation level is adopted directly.

Timer function
The timer is used to switch off the unit automatically after a preset time. The timer function can be set in hourly intervals of up to 8h.

  • During operation, press the 5 key to enter the timer function. The hour indicator lights up. Press the button 5 repeatedly to set the hour you want.

Wait approx. 10 seconds until the settings are accepted.
After successful transfer, the display returns to the current fan speed.
NOTE: A small dot flashes at the bottom right of the display 4 to simulate the timer.

Oscillation function

  • Press the oscillation button 3 to switch the oscillation of the unit on or off.
  • When successfully activated, the selected oscillation level is shown on the display 4 .
  • You can choose between 4 levels of 30°-60°- 90°-120°.
  • The oscillation function causes the discharged air to be distributed from left to right.
  • To deactivate the oscillation function, press the oscillation button 3 until “000” appears on the display.

Maintenance, Cleaning and Storage

  • Always unplug the mains adapter 17 when the appliance is not in use and before any cleaning or in case of malfunctions!
  • Only clean the appliance when it is switched off and cold.
  • Make sure that no moisture enters the unit during cleaning to avoid irreparable damage to the unit.
  • Only clean the housing with a dry, soft cloth. Never use abrasive and/or scratching cleaning agents.
  • Remove dust deposits from the unit with a hoover. Store the unit in a dry environment.

Disposal

The packaging is made of environmentally friendly materials that you can dispose of at your local recycling centres.

The Triman logo is valid in France only.

This product is subject to the Europe-an Directive 2012/19/EU. Do not dispose of the product in household waste, but via municipal collection points for material recycling! Further information on how to dispose of the discarded device can be obtained from your local authority or city council.

Batteries must be recycled in accordance with Directive 2006/66/EC and may not be disposed of with domestic waste. Each consumer is legally obliged to re- turn all batteries/rechargeable batteries to a collection point in his municipality/district or to the trade. This duty serves to ensure that batteries/rechargeable bat-teries can be directed to environmentally friendly disposal. Only return batteries/rechargeable batteries which are not charged. Batteries must be removed from the appliance prior to disposal.
Observe the labelling of the packaging materials when separating waste; these are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with the following meaning: 1–7: Plastics/20–22: Paper and card-board/80-98: Composites.

Dear Customer,
This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from the date of purchase. If this product has any faults, you, the buyer, have certain statutory rights. Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by the warranty described below.

Warranty conditions
The validity period of the warranty starts from the date of purchase. Please keep your original receipt in a safe place. This document will be required as proof of purchase.
If any material or production fault occurs within three years of the date of purchase of the product, we will either repair or replace the product for you or refund the purchase price at our discretion. This warranty service is dependent on you presenting the defective appliance and the proof of purchase (receipt) and a short written description of the fault and its time of occurrence.
If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product will either be repaired or replaced by us. The repair or replacement of a product does not signify the beginning of a new warranty period.

Warranty period and statutory claims for defects
The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs effected under the warranty. This also applies to replaced and repaired components. Any damage and defects present at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking. Repairs carried out after expiry of the warranty period shall be subject to a fee.

Scope of the warranty
This appliance has been manufactured in accord-ance with strict quality guidelines and inspected meticulously prior to delivery.
The warranty covers material faults or production faults. The warranty does not extend to product parts subject to normal wear and tear or fragile parts such as switches, batteries or those made of glass.
The warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged, improperly used or improperly main-tained. The directions in the operating instructions for the product regarding proper use of the product are to be strictly followed. Uses and actions that are discouraged in the operating instructions or which are warned against must be avoided.
This product is intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes. The warranty shall be deemed void in cases of misuse or improper han-dling, use of force and modifications/repairs which have not been carried out by one of our authorised Service centres.
