NGP Door Sweeps

INSTRUCTION MANUAL

Installation Instructions

1. Cut sweep to fit.
2. Close door. Hold sweep at bottom of door. Tap down until contact is made between the sweep and threshold.
3. Mark screw holes.
4. Drill pilot holes for screws using a 7/64″ drill bit.
5. Install with screws provided.
6. Adjust position so sweep does not impede proper closing and latching of door.

Product Usage Instructions

Installation Instructions:
  1. Cut the sweep to fit the door.
  2. Close the door and hold the sweep at the bottom of the door.
  3. Tap down until contact is made between the sweep and threshold.
  4. Mark screw holes on the door.
  5. Drill pilot holes for screws using a 7/64 drill bit.
  6. Install the sweep with the provided screws.
  7. Adjust the position so the sweep does not impede proper closing and latching of the door.
Positive Pressure Tested Gasketing Materials for Fire Doors:

This product is designed for application to hollow-metal-type fire doors rated up to 3 hours and wood-type fire doors rated up to 1-1/2 hours. It falls under Category H for Smoke and Draft Control gasketing and has been tested to UL 1784. It meets the requirements of NFPA 105 and IBC for use on S label doors.
