Part 1 Mounting Monitor
- Choose a desired mounting location on the dashboard to mount the fan mount on.
- Peel off the red 3M tape cover and adhere it to the dash, then use provided screws to secure the mount more permanently.
- Slide the monitor in between the bracket on the mount.
- Tighten the retaining nut against the bracket to secure monitor in place.
Part 2 Wiring
- Connect the monitor harness to the monitor.
- Find Accessory power, Constant power, and Ground in the vehicle. Run leads of each towards the monitor harness.
- Connect RED to Accessory, YELLOW to Constant, and BLACK to Ground.
- By wiring the trigger wires, the monitor can automatically select appropriate inputs.
- Attach the power harness to the monitor, and the camera extension wire to the desired input.
- Run the harness toward the desired camera mounting location.
Example Use Case:
Mount a Channel 2 camera on the right side of the vehicle, wire the GREEN
trigger to the right turn signal and the monitor will switch to the camera
when the turn signal is activated.
Part 3 DVR
- The system is capable of recording footage by inserting an SD card in the left side of the monitor.
NOTE: Only use SD cards up to 128GB.
Part 4 Monitor Navigation
Use Primary Function when monitor is in normal operation, Menu Function for when navigating the menu.
Camera Mounting & Power
Part 5 Camera Mounting
- Remove the 4 Allen screws that are located on the sides of the camera. Then remove the camera mounting bracket and visor.
- Find an appropriate place to mount the backup camera. Line up the foot bracket to ensure that there is enough space to attach the camera to the vehicle.
- Attach the mounting foot using either selftapping screws or a bolt and nut.
- Use a 1” hole saw to drill a hole for the camera harness.
- Feed the harness through the drilled hole, fit the grommet to the inside of the hole. Depending on the installation, the grommet may not be water tight. Use of silicone or other sealing agents is always recommended.
- Reattach camera and visor to the mounting bracket. Install so the microphone is on the right when facing you to install upright.
Part 6 Camera Power Connection
- The camera will be powered via monitor harness. Connect the camera to the extension harness to draw the necessary power and video signal.

Part 7 Camera Settings

On the end of the camera connector, there are a WHITE and a GREEN loop wire.

GREEN turns on or off parking lines.
– Unplug the loop cap to enable parking lines. -
WHITE turns on or off mirrored image.
– Unplug the loop cap to unmirror the image
– If using as a rear facing camera, plug in the loop cap.
– If using as a front facing camera, unplug the loop cap.
