Kit Contents:

  • 1x LVDS Replacement Camera (installed in housing)
    • 1x LDVS Video 5 Meter Cable
  • 1x Surface Mounting Bracket
    • 1x Licence Plate Mouting Bracket

Select and Install Camera Bracket

Part 1

License Plate Bracket:

  1. If using License Plate Bracket, remove license plate. Attach the 90 ° LVDS connector onto the backside of the camera and turn to the correct side that the cable will exit the housing.
  2. Reattach license plate securing bracket behind.
  3. Proceed to Part 3.
Part 2

Alternate Camera Mount Bracket

  1. If using Alternate Camera Mount Bracket, remove camera from License Plate Bracket using a philips screw driver.
  2. Use the surface mount bracket to mark the location of the center hole to be drilled for the LVDS cable, then drill hole.
  3. Screw the bracket to the body by using the two outer holes of the mount.
  4. Run the cable through the center hole. DO NOT FEED FROM THE 90° CONNECTOR.
  5. Attach the 90° LVDS connector onto the backside of the camera.
  6. Attach the camera housing to the bracket using the provided screws and rubber washers removed from Step 1.
Part 3

Video Connections

  1. Disconnect the LVDS connector to the factory camera.
  2. Route the provided LVDS cable to the location of the factory connection.
  3. Plug the LVDS connector into the factory connector that the factory camera was just unplugged from. Make sure that the new connector “clicks” into place.
  4. Secure Camera Harness to existing vehicle wiring. This will minimize the chance of binding or otherwise damaging the harness.
  5. Test the system. Inspect that all connections are proper and secure. Clear all loose items removed from the area around the vehicle and turn the ignition key ON to the test system.
  6. Adjust Camera angle (if necessary). Loosen camera screw to aim the camera. Tighten screw at desired adjustment.
