- Operate the product outdoors only.
-
- = not included in the scope of delivery!
Note:
The product has a centrifugal clutch. This creates a fric-tional connection as
the speed increases by pressing the clutch facings against the inner wall of
the clutch hous-ing due to the centrifugal force.
Check before operation
- Check all sides of the engine for oil or fuel leaks.
- Check the fuel level – the fuel tank should be at least half-full.
- Check the condition of the air filter.
- Check the condition of the fuel lines.
- Look for signs of damage.
- Check that all protective covers are in place and all screws, nuts and bolts are tightened.
- Ensure that the product is sufficiently ventilated.
- Make sure that the spark plug connector is attached to the spark plug.
- The suction and pressure lines must be installed in such a way that they do not exert any mechanical pressure on the pump.
**Installation of the suction line***
Note:
The pump has a non-return valve which prevents the water from flowing back
into the suction line.
- The suction line* must be reinforced with rigid walls or wire mesh.
- Do not use a hose that is smaller than the suction line of the pump.
- The suction line* should only be as long as neces-sary.
- Pumping performance is best when the pump is as close to the surface of the water as possible and the hoses* are short.
- A leaking suction line* will prevent the water from being sucked in due to air ingress.
-
Insert the hose adapter (15) into the union nut (16).
-
Insert the seal (17) into the union nut (16).
-
Screw a union nut (16) onto the suction connection (10) and tighten it firmly (8 – 10 Nm). Make sure that the seal (17) of the union nut (16) is in contact with the suction connection (10).
-
Attach the suction line to the hose adapter (15) of the suction line with a hose clamp (18) to avoid air leakage and loss of suction power. Use the Phillips screwdriver on the spark plug spanner (20) to tight-en the hose clamp (18).
-
Fit the pre-filter (19) to the other end of the suction line* and fasten it with a hose clamp (18). Use the Phillips screwdriver on the spark plug spanner (20) to tighten the hose clamp (18).
Avoid sucking in foreign bodies (sand etc.). If neces-sary, fit a pre-filter (19). -
Disassembly takes place in reverse order.
Installation of the pressure line
-
Insert the hose adapter (15) into the union nut (16).
-
Insert the seal (17) into the union nut (16).
-
Screw a union nut (16) onto the pressure connection (12) and tighten it firmly (8-10 Nm). Make sure that the seal of (17) the union nut (16) is in contact with the pressure connection (12).
-
To improve pump performance and reduce fluid fric-tion, use a short, large diameter pressure line. A long or thin hose increases fluid friction and reduc-es pumping performance.
-
Attach the pressure line to the hose adapter (15) of the pressure line with a hose clamp (18). Tighten the hose clamp (18) firmly with the Phillips screw-driver on the spark plug wrench (20) to prevent the pressure line* from slipping off the hose adapter
(15) under pressure. -
Disassembly takes place in reverse order.
Priming the product with water
Note:
Dry operation of the pump will cause damage to the pump seals. If the pump
runs dry, switch off the engine immediately and let the pump cool down before
priming with water.
Note:
If the pump is removed after use, it is essential to fill up with water again
when it is reconnected and put into op-eration.
- Before starting the engine, remove the water filling plug (1) from the pump chamber and fill the pump chamber with water.
- Screw in the water filling plug (1) again and tighten it firmly.
Note:
Filling the suction line with water is not necessary!

The guarantee is rendered null and void if any attempt is made to tamper with the device.
- The guarantee is valid for a period of 3 years starting from the purchase date of the device. Guarantee claims should be submitted before the end of the guarantee period within two weeks of the defect being noticed. No guar-antee claims will be accepted after the end of the guarantee period. The original guarantee period remains appli-cable to the device even if repairs are carried out or parts are replaced. In such cases, the work performed or parts fitted will not result in an extension of the guarantee period, and no new guarantee will become active for the work performed or parts fitted. This also applies when an on-site service is used.
- In order to assert your guarantee claim, please contact the service partner shown below. If the complaint is within the guarantee period, we will provide you with a return slip, with which you can return your defective device free of charge to us. It would help us if you could describe the nature of the problem in as much detail as possible. If the defect is covered by our guarantee then your device will either be repaired immediately and returned to you, or we will send you a new device.
- Of course, we are also happy offer a chargeable repair service for any defects which are not covered by the scope of this guarantee or for units which are no longer covered. To take advantage of this service, please send the device to our service address.
