PARKSIDE VDE Isolated Screwdriver Set Instruction Manual

VDE SCREWDRIVER SET
Voltages shown by the voltage tester are nominal voltages.
Retain this instruction manual for future reference. If this product is given to a third party, the manual must be provided as well.

DANGER! Danger of electric shock!
The voltage tester must only be used to test AC voltages.
The voltage tester must only be used for voltages within the range of 125 to 250 V∼.
Do not remove the caps. Do not use the voltage tester if the cap or housing has been opened, as this impairs device safety.
Do not use the voltage tester if its function and/or safety are visibly compromised.
The voltage tester should only be used under dry conditions.
The voltage tester must not be exposed to moisture, such as dew or rainfall.
WARNING! Never use the voltage tester as a screwdriver on the live parts of an appliance.

Prior to each use:
1. Shortly before use, check if the voltage tester and insulation jacket are functioning correctly. A damaged voltage tester must not be used.
2. Check the function of the voltage tester’s neon glow lamp on a connected power socket. A damaged or dysfunctional voltage tester must be disposed of immediately.

**WARNING! Failure to perceive the light indicator does not guarantee the absence of voltage.**

The following factors may affect the light indicator:

Adverse lighting conditions, such as sunlight.
Temperatures outside the range of ‒10 °C to +50 °C
Frequencies outside the range of 50 to 500 Hz
Unfavourable locations such as on wooden ladders, insulating floor coverings and with non-permanently grounded AC wiring

To determine whether AC voltage is present, follow these steps:
1. Hold the tip of the voltage tester to a contact point of the electrical wiring.
2. Touch the other end of the voltage tester with a finger. The neon glow lamp will be illuminated if AC power is present.

Disposal

The product and packaging materials are recyclable and are subject to extended producer responsibility.
Dispose them separately, following the illustrated Info-tri (sorting information), for better waste treatment.

The Triman logo is valid in France only.
