Product Installation Instructions
About the Device Installation:
Follow these recommendations for installation:
- Install indoors only
- Avoid installation near glass windows, direct sunlight, and heat sources
Wall Installation:
- Attach the mounting template sticker to the wall
- Drill holes according to the mounting paper
- Fix the backplate on the wall with mounting screws
- Pass wires through the wiring hole and connect them to the device
- Snap the device onto the backplate and push it down into place
- Fasten the device to the backplate with a security screw
Ethernet Connection:
Establish connection between the device and software using an Ethernet cable.
Set IP address as per provided details.
Power Connection:
Use recommended AC adapter: 12V, 3A. Use higher current rated adapter for
sharing power with other devices.
Exit Button, Door Sensor & Auxiliary Connection:
Connect exit button, door sensor, and auxiliary using the provided
connections.
RS485 Connection:
Connect RS485 reader using the specified terminals.
Lock Relay Connection:
Connect lock relay based on whether it’s Normally Opened or Normally Closed
Lock.
Wiegand Reader Connection:
Connect Wiegand reader using the specified terminals.

About the Device Installation
Please refer to the following recommendations for installation.
Installation Environment
Install on the wall
- Attach the mounting template sticker to the wall, and drill holes according to the mounting paper.
- Fix the backplate on the wall with the wall mounting screws.
- After passing the wires through the wiring hole and connecting them to the device, and then snap the device onto the backplate and push it down into place.
- Fasten the device to the backplate with a security screw.
Terminal Block
Ethernet Connection
Establish the connection between the device and the software using an Ethernet cable. An illustrative example is provided below:
Tap on to enter the main menu. And then click on [Comm.] > [Ethernet] > [IP
Address] to input the IP address.
Note: In LAN, IP addresses of the server (PC) and the device must be in
the same network segment when connecting to the software.
Power Connection
- Recommended AC adapter: 12V, 3A
- To share power with other devices, use an AC adapter with higher current ratings.
Exit Button, Door Sensor & Auxiliary Connection
RS485 Connection
Lock Relay Connection
The system supports both the Normally Opened Lock and the Normally Closed Lock. The NO LOCK (normally opened at power on) is connected with ‘NO’ and ‘COM’ terminals, and the NC LOCK (normally closed at power on) is connected with ‘NC’ and ‘COM’ terminals. Take NC Lock as an example below:
- Device not sharing power with the lock
- Device sharing power with the lock
Wiegand Reader Connection
Note: The Wiegand interface is shared, and the user can choose to use either the Wiegand input or Wiegand output function to interface with different Wiegand devices.
