Installing the Link Cellular
- Isolate the mains supply to the boiler.
- Locate and remove the blanking plate on the front of the boiler.
- Remove the link wire plug and keep it safe.
- Connect the plug on the Link Cellular to the connector in the aperture.
- Push fit the Link Cellular into the boiler aperture.
- Switch on the boiler, wait for boot-up. Power LED will be solid, Bluetooth, and Connectivity LEDs will flash. Follow app instructions.

WELCOME
To begin scan the QR code to download the Link Pro app. Follow the in-app instructions once section 3 is complete.
- This module will connect, via the Link Pro app, through a 2G cellular or NB-IoT connection, to the secure Ideal Heating Cloud.
- Once connected to the Ideal Heating Cloud this module will communicate diagnostic and telemetry boiler data to Ideal Heating and the housing provider to assist with service, maintenance, and fault diagnosis
OVERVIEW
INSTALLING THE LINK CELLULAR
- Isolate the mains supply to the boiler.
- Locate the blanking plate on the front of the boiler and carefully remove with a small flat bladed screwdriver.
- Remove the link wire plug and keep in a safe place
- Connect the plug on the Link Cellular to the connector in the aperture.
- Push fit the Link Cellular into the boiler aperture.
- Switch on the boiler, the Link Cellular unit will now boot up. Once this has been completed, the Power LED will be solid and both the Bluetooth and Connectivity LED’s will be flashing as shown. At this point follow the instructions in the mobile App.

Unable to connect to Cellular network| If a connection to a cellular network
cannot be achieved, an external mounting bracket is available to facilitate a
better connection.
Factory reset of the Link Cellular| Press and hold the pairing button for 15
seconds – all LEDs will extinguish and the unit will reboot
