Product Usage Instructions

How to Curl Your Hair

  1. Place ends of hair on a roller and wind toward the scalp. Roll hair up firmly and secure the roller with a super clip, crossing over the roller.
  2. The firmness of the curl is regulated by the length of time the roller is left in your hair.
  3. For a tighter curl, leave rollers in the hair for at least 10 minutes before removing them. For soft, wavy curls, remove rollers after a shorter period.
  4. Removing rollers: Hold the roller in one hand while removing the clip with the other. Gently drop the roller (DO NOT PULL) and let the curl bounce back after the roller has been completely removed.
    • Repeat with the remaining rollers. Let hair cool for one minute to set, and then style your hair into a look that lasts for hours.

The Ionizing Function

NOTE: The unit may produce a clicking sound at times. This is normal for a high-output ion generator.

User Maintenance

  • Your hair setter is designed for household use and is virtually maintenance-free. If cleaning becomes necessary, disconnect the appliance from the power source, allow the setter to cool, then clean the unit and heat metal radiator heating strips with a cloth.
  • Clean rollers with a damp cloth and mild detergent if needed. If any abnormal condition occurs, unplug the hairsetter and return it to an authorized service representative for repair.

Storage

Allow the hair setter to cool before storing. Handle the cord carefully to prolong its life; avoid jerking or straining at plug connections. Place the hairsetter out of reach of children in a safe, dry location.

How to operate your hair setter:

  1. Place the hairsetter on a firm, flat surface. With the lid closed, plug a cord into an outlet. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety feature, this plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
  2. Hairsetter has a slide switch for power control. Slide the switch to your desired setting (High or Low). The red light will go on and the rollers will heat up quickly. Rollers are ready to use when the ready dot on one of the rollers turns transparent white.
    • Note: Allow rollers to heat with the lid closed, as this will provide the fastest, most efficient heat-up.
  3. Once the rollers reach the desired temperature, you can begin setting your hair. For tighter curls, allow rollers to heat longer. Never leave your hairsetter on and unattended. Always unplug the hairsetter when not in use. Allow the hairsetter to cool down after use, and store it in a safe place.
  4. Hair should be clean and dry or slightly damp – never wet – when setting. Please see HOW TO CURL YOUR HAIR for further instructions.
