Ground the VS0108HB by connecting one end of a grounding wire to the grounding terminal and the other end to a suitable ground object.
Note: Do not omit this step. Proper grounding helps to prevent damage to the unit from power surges or static electricity. -
Use an HDMI male-to-male cable to connect your computer or an HDMI source device to the input port on the VS0108HB.

Use HDMI male-to-male cables to connect up to 8 display devices to the output ports on the VS0108HB.

(Optional) To configure the VS0108HB settings through the RS-232 port, connect a hardware/software controller to the VS0108HB.

Plug the power adapter that came with VS0108HB package into an AC power source, then plug the power adapter cable into the splitter’s Power Jack.

(C) Operation
EDID Mode Selection
On the rear of the VS0108HB, put the EDID Mode Switch to the number that corresponds to the desired EDID Mode.

| 0 | Port 1 | Applies the EDID of the display detected at port 1 to other |
connected displays.
1| ATEN Default| Applies ATEN’s predefined EDID to the connected displays.
2| Auto| Applies the highest resolution of the detected displays to all
displays.
3| Switch| Applies the EDID defined via RS-232 commands to connected displays.
You can choose among 10 sets of EDID configurations. See the User Manual for
more details.
4 to 7| N/A| Reserved.
System Control via RS-232 Commands
The VS0108HB’s built-in bi-directional RS-232 serial interface allows system control through a high-end controller, PC, or a home automation/theater software package. To use the connected controller, configure its serial port to the following:
