Product Usage Instructions

Installation:
Follow these steps to install your RoomSensor Pro:

  1. Glue the locating sticker to the ceiling following the provided text instructions on the stickers.
  2. Install the stand using the 3M tape. This method is suitable for all ceilings.
  3. If routing wiring through the wall, make a hole for threading as needed.
  4. For specific ceiling types like plasterboard or aluminum suspended ceilings, refer to the installation instructions provided in the manual.

Route the Wiring and Install:
After installing the stand, route the wiring and securely install the RoomSensor Pro onto the stand.

Hardware Interface:
The RoomSensor Pro features various hardware interfaces including light sensor, wireless status indicator light, system indicator light, temperature and humidity sensor, USB-A Port, Reset key, Internet Port, and Power port.

Connection:
Connect the RoomSensor Pro using a Cat5e cable (not included) or an IEEE 802.3af compliant PoE Hub/Switch. Alternatively, connect power and network cables for power and internet supply.

FAQ:

  1. Q: Can I use third-party accessories with RoomSensor Pro?
    A: It is recommended to use accessories provided or approved by Yealink to ensure optimal performance. Unapproved third-party accessories may result in reduced performance.

  2. Q: What do I do if I need to run exposed wiring instead of routing it within the wall?
    A: In such cases, you will need to use the provided shim. Peel off the backing of the shim, attach it to the stand (flat side), and then secure the stand onto the locating sticker as instructed.

Installation

Note:

  • It is recommended to install the RoomSensor Pro at a height less than 3 meters from the ground.
  • It is recommended to install it directly above the center of the meeting room table during installation.
  • Please wipe the ceiling at the respective location with a dry paper towel before installation.
