Installation & Use
Light modes
The Ara Lamp has four light modes.
- Pull the pull cord switch (4) once to switch on the warm white light
- Pull once more to switch on the dim light
- Pull once more to switch on the RGB cycle light, which constantly changes the color of the light
- To set the light on a specific color, use the hold function by pulling the cord when the light has the preferred color to keep the color constant
- Pull the cord a final time to turn off the lamp
Use of the lamp

Lamp is charged using 5V DC USB power outlet. USB-C input is located under the protective lid underneath the lampshade.

Charging cable is included with the lamp. Charge time from empty to full app. 2.5 hrs.

Please fully charge the lamp before first use

The lamp can be taken apart for smaller pack size. To disassemble the lamp for transportation, unscrew the Steel Stand (2) from the PP lampshade (1), and the Steel Base (3) from the Steel Stand (2) by rotating them counterclockwise. Use the carrybag included to store the lamp during transportation.

Lamp is water resistant to IP44.

Do not stare directly into the light source. This can be harmful to the eyes.
Cleaning & maintenance
- Lamp can be cleaned with water or a damp rag.
- Do not use corrosive liquids to clean the lamp as this might damage the lamp.
Light Source: LED
- Light source and control gear is not replaceable.
- This would introduce weak points in the construction,
- that could reduce the lifetime of the product.
Disassembly & Disposal
Instruction for removal of light source and control gear by market
surveillance authorities:

Follow the steps under “1. Installation & Use” to disassemble the steel stand, base and lampshade.

Remove the upper part of the PP lampshade (1) from the base part to access the light source. The two parts are glued together . Use force, or the flat part of a screwdriver to separate them if necessary

Unscrew screws whilst holding light source in place

Cut needed wires to remove the required components for testing

Cut wires and remove screws to allow removal of electronics on circuit board. Dispose of electronics according to local regulations

Disconnect and cut wires to allow removal of battery. Dispose of battery according to local regulations.
