1. Introduction
The ZT-UEX300 is a new generation of USB 3.2 and USB 3.0 extender. It supports
USB 3.2 Gen 1 standard with up to 5Gbps USB data transmission rate, and is
backwards compatible with USB 3.0, USB 2.0, and USB 1.1 specifications.
This USB extender can extend USB 3.2 and 3.0 data up to 100m / 328ft. via a
single Cat 6a/7 F/FTP or U/FTP cable. It has a built in 4-port USB hub in the
receiver which can be connected with multiple USB devices. It adopts advanced
USB data transmission technology, and only occupies one USB tier. For multiple
USB device scenarios, this extender can also be used with an external USB 3.2
and 3.0 hub. With two-way PoH + function, this extender only requires one
power supply to be connected to the transmitter or receiver to power both
units which is suitable for scenarios where the receiver can’t be connected to
a power supply (such as outdoor monitoring scenario).
2. Features
- Supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 standard, and backward compatible with USB 3.0, USB 2.0, and USB 1.1 standards.
- Supports up to 5Gbit/s data transmission rate.
- Supports transmitting USB signal up to 100m/328ft. via a signal Cat 6a/7 F/FTP or U/FTP cable. Pure hardware architecture is compatible with Control / Bulk / Interrupt / Isochronous transmission protocols.
- Provides four USB 3.2 & 3.0 device ports on the receiver, includes one 1.5A port for connecting high-power USB devices.
- Occupies one USB hub tier and supports connecting additional USB hub devices.
- Supports RS232 and FSYNC GPIO pass-through for industrial camera control.
- Plug and play, no driver is required, and compatible with multiple operating systems.
- Support firmware upgrading via micro-USB port.
- Built-in two-way PoH + modules, only needs to be connected to one power adapter to the transmitter or receiver to power both units.

6. Installation and Wiring
Installation:
Note: Before installation, please ensure the device is disconnected from the power source.
Steps to install the device:
1. Attach the installation bracket to the enclosure using the screws provided
in the package separately.
2. The bracket is attached to the enclosure as shown.
3. Repeat the steps from 1 to 2 for the other side of the unit.
4. Attach the brackets to the surface you want to hold the unit against using
the screws (provided by others).
5. Repeat the steps from 1 to 4 to install the receiver.

Before wiring, disconnect the power from all devices.
During wiring, connect and disconnect the cables gently.
7. RS232 & FSYNC
The transmitter and receiver feature a RS232 & FSYNC (IN) port and a RS232 &
FSYNC (OUT) port respectively, which are used for industrial camera control.
RS232 & FSYNC (IN): FSYNC (IN), GPIO digital in port, supports 3.3V voltage
input. Connect to a PC.
RS232 & FSYNC (OUT): FSYNC (OUT), GPIO digital out port, supply for 3.3V voltage output.
Connect to an industrial camera.
8. Maintenance
Clean this unit with a soft, dry cloth. Never use alcohol, paint thinner, or benzine to clean.
9. Warranty
If your product does not work properly because of a defect in materials of
workmanship, our company (referred to as “the warrantor”) will, for the length
of the period indicated as below, “Parts and Labor (5) Years”, which starts
with the date of original purchase (“Limited Warranty period”), at its option
either (a) repair your product with new or refurbished parts, or (b) replace
it with a new or a refurbished product. The decision to repair or replace will
be made by the warrantor.
During the “Labor” limited warranty period, there will be no charge for labor.
During the “Parts” warranty period, there will be no charge for parts. You
must mail-in your product during the warranty period. This Limited Warranty is
extended only to the original purchaser and only covers products purchased as
new. A purchase receipt or other proof of original purchase date is required
for Limited Warranty service.
10. Mail-In Service
When shipping the unit, carefully pack and send it prepaid, adequately insured, and preferably in the original carton. Include a letter detailing the complaint and provide a daytime phone and/or email address where you can be reached phone and/or email address where you can be reached.
11. Limited Warranty Limits and Exclusions
This Limited Warranty ONLY COVERS failures due to defects in material or workmanship and DOES NOT COVER normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage. The Limited Warranty ALSO DOES NOT COVER damages which occurred in shipment, or failures which are caused by products not supplied by warrantor, or failures which result from accidents, misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling, misapplication, alteration, faulty installation, set-up adjustments, mis- adjustment of consumer controls, improper maintenance, power line surge, lightning damage, modification, or service by anyone other than a Factory Service center or other Authorized Servicer, or damage that is attributed to acts of God.
There are no express warranties except as listed under “Limited Warranty Coverage”. The warrantor is not liable for incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use of this product or arising out of any breach of this warranty. (As examples, this excludes damages for lost time, cost of having someone remove or re-install an installed unit if applicable, travel to and from the service, loss of or damage to media or images, data or other recorded content. The items listed are not exclusive but are for illustration only). Parts and service, which are not covered by this limited warranty, are your responsibility.
