This product is a 1-card 1-port 4K30 HDBaseT input card designed to be used with Zenty chassis models including 9×9, 16×16, 18×18, and 36×36. It supports HDMI loop out and can be used for EDID management by using the DIP switch on the card. The card also supports bi-directional IR and RS232 transmission. It utilizes HDBaseT technology, allowing it to provide power over cable (POC) for HDBaseT transmitters. The maximum distance supported is up to 230ft. (70m) for 4K30 or 330ft. (100m) for 1080P.
Introduction
This is a 1-card 1-port 4K30 HDBaseT input card which is to be used with Zenty chassis, including 9×9, 16×16, 18×18 and 36×36. It supports HDMI loop out or this HDMI loop can be used for the EDID management function by working with the DIP switch on the card. It also supports bi directional IR and the R$232 transmission. It uses HDBaseT technology so it can support POC for the HDBaseT transmitters. The distance can up to 230ft. (70m) for 4K30 or 330ft. (100m) for 1080P.

EDID Setup
Step 1:
No need to turn off the matrix. Unplug the HDBaseT input card from the Matrix
Switcher chassis, and have the 4-DIP switch (DIP1, DIP2, DIP3, DIP4) set up to
position (0,1, 1, 1). Have an HDMI cable connected to the display from HDMI
port on the HDBaseT input card, The HDBaseT port can stay connected to the
transmitter.
Insert the HDBaseT input card back to the matrix switcher, and wait for about
15 seconds.
Step 2:
Plug out the HDBaseT input card and have the 4-pin DIP switch (DIP1, DIP2, DIP3, DIP4) set up to position (0,0,0,0). Then insert the HDBaseT input card back to the matrix and disconnect the HDMI cable. EDID setup is finished.
- There’s a 4-pin black DIP on the HDBaseT card, it’s able to set up the POC function as 12V, 24V, and POC function off.
- Set POC to 12V: Have the DIP switch A & B up, and the C & D to down position.
- Set POC to 24V: Have the DIP switch A & C down, and the B & D to up position.
Maintenance
- Clean this unit with a soft, dry cloth. Never use alcohol, paint thinner, or benzene to clean.
Warranty
- If your product does not work properly because of a defect in materials of workmanship, our company (referred to as “the warrantor”) will, for the length of the period indicated as below, “Parts and Labor (5) Years”, which starts with the date of original purchase (“Limited Warranty period*), at its option either (a) repair your product with new or refurbished parts, or (b) replace it with a new or a refurbished product. The decision to repair or replace will be made by the warrantor.
- During the “Labor” limited warranty period, there will be no charge for labor. During the “Parts” warranty period, there will be no charge for parts. You must mail in your product during the warranty period. This Limited Warranty is extended only to the original purchaser and only covers products purchased as new. A purchase receipt or other proof of the original purchase date is required for Limited Warranty service.
Mail-In Service
- When shipping the unit, carefully pack and send it prepaid, adequately insured, and preferably in the original carton. Include a letter detailing the complaint and provide a daytime phone and or email address where you can be reached.
Limited Warranty Limits and Exclusions
- This Limited Warranty ONLY COVERS failures due to defects in material or workmanship and DOES NOT COVER normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage. The Limited Warranty ALSO DOES NOT COVER damages which occurred in shipment, or failures which are caused by products not supplied by the warrantor, or failures which result from accidents, misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling, misapplication, alteration, faulty installation, setup adjustments, misadjustment of consumer controls, improper maintenance, power line surge, lightning damage, modification, or service by anyone other than a Factory Service Center or other Authorized Servicer, or damage that is attributed to acts of God.
- THERE ARE NO EXPRESS WARRANTIES EXCEPT AS LISTED UNDER “LIMITED WARRANTY COVERAGE” THE WARRANTOR IS NOT LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE USE OF THIS PRODUCT, OR ARISING OUT OF ANY BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY. (As examples, this excludes damages for lost time, cost of having someone remove or re-install an installed unit if applicable, travel to and from the service, and loss of or damage to media or images, data or other recorded content.
