Product Information

The Zenty 1-card 1-port 4K30 HDBaseT output card is a professional A/V solution that is designed to be used with the Zenty chassis, including 9×9, 16×16, 18×18, and 36×36. It supports bi-directional IR and RS232 transmission. The card utilizes HDBaseT technology, enabling it to support Power over Cable (PoC) for HDBaseT receivers. It has a maximum distance of up to 230ft / 70m for 4K30 or 328ft / 100m for 1080P video resolution.

The card supports various audio formats and video resolutions. It is compliant with HDMI, HDCP 1.4, EDID, PoH / PoC, Bidirectional IR, and RS232 standards/protocols. It features one IR RX (3.5mm) and one IR TX (3.5mm) port with a 3-Pin phoenix connector for communication and clock synchronization. The power supply can be either internal to or from the matrix. The card consumes 3W of power without PoC to the transmitter and 6W with PoC to the transmitter. The PoC function can be set to 12V or 24V, or turned off using a 4-pin black DIP switch on the HDBaseT card.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. To set the POC function to 12V, ensure that DIP switch A & B are in the up position, and C & D are in the down position.
  2. To set the POC function to 24V, ensure that DIP switch A & C are in the down position, and B & D are in the up position.
  3. To turn off the POC function, set the 4-pin DIP switch to the middle position.
  4. When cleaning the unit, use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use alcohol, paint thinner, or benzine.
  5. In case of a defect in materials or workmanship, the product is covered by a Limited Warranty of (5) Years from the date of original purchase. The warrantor may choose to repair or replace the product during this period.
  6. To avail warranty service, mail-in the product during the warranty period and include a detailed complaint, along with contact information.
  7. The Limited Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, damages in shipment, failures caused by non-warrantor-supplied products, accidents, misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling, misapplication, alteration, faulty installation, set-up adjustments, misadjustment of consumer controls, improper maintenance, power line surge, lightning damage, modification, or service by unauthorized personnel.

PoC Setup

There’s a 4-pin black DIP on the HDBaseT card, it’s able to set up the POC function as 12V, 24V and POC function off.

Maintenance

Clean this unit with a soft, dry cloth. Never use alcohol, paint thinner, or benzene to clean.

Warranty

If your product does not work properly because of a defect in materials of workmanship, our company (referred to as “the warrantor”) will, for the length of the period indicated as below, “Parts and Labor (5) Years”, which starts with the date of original purchase (“Limited Warranty period”), at its option either (a) repair your product with new or refurbished parts, or (b) replace it with a new or a refurbished product. The decision to repair or replace will be made by the warrantor.

During the “Labor” limited warranty period, there will be no charge for labor. During the “Parts” warranty period, there will be no charge for parts. You must mail in your product during the warranty period. This Limited Warranty is extended only to the original purchaser and only covers products purchased as new. A purchase receipt or other proof of the original purchase date is required for Limited Warranty service.

Mail-In Service

When shipping the unit, carefully pack and send it prepaid, adequately insured, and preferably in the original carton. Include a letter detailing the complaint and provide a daytime phone and/or email address where you can be reached.

Limited Warranty Limits and Exclusions

This Limited Warranty ONLY COVERS failures due to defects in material or workmanship and DOES NOT COVER normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage. The Limited Warranty ALSO DOES NOT COVER damages which occurred in shipment, or failures which are caused by products not supplied by the warrantor, or failures which result from accidents, misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling, misapplication, alteration, faulty installation, set-up adjustments, misadjustment of consumer controls, improper maintenance, power line surge, lightning damage, modification, or service by anyone other than a Factory Service Center or other Authorized Servicer, or damage that is attributed to acts of God.

THERE ARE NO EXPRESS WARRANTIES EXCEPT AS LISTED UNDER “LIMITED WARRANTY COVERAGE”. THE WARRANTOR IS NOT LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE USE OF THIS PRODUCT, OR ARISING OUT OF ANY BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY. (As examples, this excludes damages for lost time, cost of having someone remove or re-install an installed unit if applicable, travel to and from the service, loss of or damage to media or images, data or other recorded content.
