Installation
1 Preparing the light for installation
❑ Remove two screws (GG) on the back of the fixture for access to the wiring
compartment.
IMPORTANT : Keep the screws (GG). You need them to install the back plate
to the fixture. There are no additional screws (GG) in the package.
❑ Determine the electrical feed location.
❑ Remove a knockout from either the back plate or side of the fixture
housing. The fixture has 2 to 6 knockouts depending on length of your fixture.
This drawing shows the 18 in. model and is for reference only.
3 Connecting the wires
❑ Install the Die-cast connector and lock it in the knockout (see Figure 1).
❑ Connect the ground wire from the fixture to the ground wire from the supply
circuit- Canned the white wire from the Futon to the white wire (Neutral wire)
from The supply circuit. Connect the black wire from the fixture to the black

three wire connectors (FP). Position the wires back Inside the outlet box.
Make sure the wire connections are secured.
NOTE: Betore you connect tans make sure to ONOFF smith on the palace Is OFF or

4 Re-attaching the back cover
❑ Re-attach the back cover of the wiring compartment with the two previously-
removed screws (GG).
NOTE: Ensure the wires are covered properly inside the fixture.
5 Mounting the light fixture
NOTE: The fixture mounting screws are suitable for cabinet bottoms 3/8 in. or
thicker. Use shorter screws for thinner cabinet bottoms.
❑ Attach the light to the desired surface,mark the screw location.
❑ Pre-drill holes in the mounting surface with a 1/16 in (1.5mm) drill bit to
make installing screws easier.
❑ Use the fixture mounting screws (EE) to attach the light to the marked
location.
❑ Restore power to the electrical circuit at the service panel.
❑ Turn on the switch to light the fixture.
NOTE : These fixtures are dimmable and compatible with these dimmers sold
at The Home Depot.
❑ Make sure the lights are in a single loop and a single pole with the
dimmers, and that the total wattage of the lights does not exceed the dimmer
wattage capacity. Please refer to wattage capacity on the dimmer packaging.
