**Instructions for Use
**
Using the Iridescent Gloss Kettle
STEP 1: Position the power base onto a flat, stable, heat-resistant
surface at a height that is comfortable for the user.
STEP 2: Press the lid release button to open the flip-top lid and fill
the kettle to the desired water level. The water level must be between the
min. fill mark and the max. fill mark on the water fill gauge.
STEP 3: Close the flip-top lid until it clicks securely shut and place
the kettle back onto the power base.
STEP 4: Plugin and switch on the kettle at the mains power supply, then
push the power switch to the ‘on’ position until it clicks. The power switch
will automatically flip back into the ‘off position when the kettle has
boiled.
STEP 5: Once the water has stopped boiling vigorously, lift the kettle by
the handle and pour out the desired amount of water. Do not pour the water too
quickly as this may cause it to trickle down the side of the kettle.
Note: The Blue/red LED ring will illuminate blue as soon as the kettle is
connected to the mains power supply. The Blue/red LED ring will illuminate red
when the power switch is set to the ‘on’ position.
Caution: Allow the kettle to cool thoroughly before touching or opening
the lip-top lid. Do not use the kettle if the base or any of the electrical
connectors are wet. Do not attempt to dry these whilst the kettle is plugged
in. If the power switch will not stay clicked into the ‘on’ position, do not
force it to stay down. This may cause excess steam to escape from the lip-top
lid, damage to the automatic shut-off mechanism or injury to the user. The
body and lip-top lid of the kettle gets very hot during use. Do not touch any
part of the kettle except the handle whilst it is in use or filled with hot
water.
Warning: The flip-top lid may spray water if opened after boiling — allow the
kettle to cool before opening the flip-top-lid
