Read and understand the operating instructions before using the appliance. Familiarise with the control elements and how to use the appliance properly. Observe all the safety measures listed in the instructions. Behave responsibly towards other people.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or ack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

Children should be supervised in order to ensure that they do not play with the tool. Always keep children and unauthorised persons out of reach of the appliance.

Specified Conditions of Use

The cordless pressure washer is suitable for cleaning and watering.

Do not use this product in any other way as stated for normal use. Not observing general regulations in force and instructions from this manual does not make the manufacturer liable for damages.

Safety Instructions for Cordless Pressure Washers

Do not point the tool towards yourself or anyone nearby.

Wear safety goggles and suitable protective clothing to protect against splashing back water and dirt.

When working with the equipment, persons within reach must wear protective clothing.

Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool.

Do not use the device near flammable liquids or gases. Risk of fire and explosion in case of short circuit.

Do not spray flammable liquids. There is a risk of explosion.

Do not point the jet of the tool at appliances with electrical components, such as the inside of ovens.

There is a risk of tripping when using the tool with a suction hose.

The suction hose must not be kinked, crushed or run over. There is a risk of damage and subsequent injury.

The tool must not be operated if the suction hose, the nozzles or the spray lance are damaged.

Do not use for cleaning windows.

Protect the tool from frost and dry running.

Wear sturdy footwear for protection against electric shock

According to valid regulations, it is not permitted to operate the tool on the drinking water network without a system separator. Use a system separator according to EN 12729 type BA..

Water that has passed through a system separator is classified as non-potable. A system separator is available from specialist retailers.

A system separator (backflow preventer) prevents water and detergent from flowing back into the drinking water pipe.

Always switch on the tool only after you have connected the water supply and the connection is tight.

Do not operate the tool with the water supply closed. Dry running will damage the tool.

Be aware of the recoil force of the escaping water jet. Ensure a safe stand and hold the pressure washer firmly. Otherwise you could injure yourself or other persons.

Switch off the tool immediately and remove the battery if the water system leaks.

To reduce the risk of fire, personal injury, and product damage due to a short circuit, never immerse your device, battery pack or charger in fluid or allow a fluid to flow inside them. Corrosive or conductive fluids, such as seawater, certain industrial chemicals, and bleach or bleach containing products, etc., Can cause a short circuit.

Do not draw water from natural water sources. There is a risk of contamination.

Clean and rinse the tool after work by spraying clear water with detergent.

The tool may only be operated on a water connection with a maximum pressure of 5 bar.

When the cordless pressure washer is in operation, persons or animals must stay away from and not immerse themselves in the liquid to be pumped (e.g. swimming pools, cellars, etc.).

The cordless pressure washer must never run in a dry state.

This tool is designed to be used with a neutral, biodegradable detergent. The use of other detergents or chemical substances may affect the safety of the tool and cause damage. Such damage to the tool is not covered by the warranty.

Stop the device and disconnect it from the power supply (remove the battery):

– when not in use and in storage

– before all assembly, conversion, cleaning or maintenance work

The temperature of the liquid to be pumped out must not exceed +35°C.

Never use damaged, defective or deformed accumulators. Never open or damage the accumulator or let it fall on the ground.

Never charge the battery in an environment with acids and easily flammable materials.

Protect the battery against heat and fire. Battery to be used at the ambient temperatures between 10°C and +40°C only.

Never put the battery on heaters and do not expose it to strong sunlight for a long time.

After being subject to heavy load, let the battery cool down first.

Short circuit – do not bridge the accumulator contacts with metal parts.

The accumulator must be packaged (plastic bag, box) or accumulator contacts must be sealed up for accumulator disposal, transport or storage.

The Güde charger to be used only to charge the battery. There can be malfunction or fire if different chargers are used.

Vapours may leak out in case of unauthorised use or when using a damaged accumulator. Bring fresh air and seek medical advice if experiencing difficulties. Vapours may irritate the respiratory system.

Work instructions

Accumulators are supplied partially charged and must therefore be fully charged before being used for the first time.

  • Charge the accumulator when the appliance is running slowly or stops.
  • A li-ion battery may be charged at any time without any shortening of its life. Charging process interruption will not damage the accumulator.
  • A li-ion battery is protected by the Electronic Cell Protection against deep discharge.
  • A significantly shorter operating time of a charged battery means the battery life is over and the battery must be replaced. Only use original replacement battery packs.

Maintenance

Take the replaceable battery from the appliance before any extension, cleaning and servicing works.

Repairs and works specified in these instructions may only be performed by qualified authorised staff.

Use only original accessories and original spare parts.

Keep the device, in particular the air vents, clean at all times. Never spray water on the device body!

Never clean the machine and its components with solvents, flammable or toxic liquids. Us only a damp cloth making.

Apply environment-friendly oil to all moving parts.

Only a regularly maintained and treated appliance can serve as a satisfactory aid. Insufficient maintenance and care can lead to unforeseen accidents and injuries.

Disposal

Any damaged or disposed devices must be delivered to appropriate collection centres.

Transport packaging disposal

The packaging protects the machine against damage during transport. Packaging materials are usually chosen based on environment aspects and waste treatment principles and are therefore recyclable. Returning the packaging into material circulation saves raw materials and reduces waste production. Parts of packagings (e.g. foils, styropor®) can be dangerous for children.

Risk of suffocation!

Keep parts of the packagings out of reach of children and dispose them as soon as possible.

Dispose of the batteries in an environmentally friendly manner.

Li-ion batteries are subject to the special disposal obligation. Have any defective batteries disposed of by a specialised shop. The battery must be taken out before the appliance is scrapped. Damaged batteries may harm the environment and your health if toxic vapours or liquids leak out of such batteries.

Therefore, never send a defective battery by post, etc.

Please contact your local recycling centre.

Dispose of the batteries when discharged. We recommend applying an adhesive tape on the poles to protect them against short circuit. Never open the battery.

Guarantee

Warranty period of 12 months applies to commercial use and 24 months applies to private use and commences on the day of purchase of the device.

The guarantee solely covers inadequacies caused by material defect or manufacturing defect. Original payment voucher with the sales date needs to be submitted for any claim in the guarantee period.

The guarantee does not cover any unauthorised use such as appliance overloading, use of violence, damage as a result of any unauthorised interference or caused by foreign items. Failing to follow the operating and assembly instructions and common wear are also not included in the guarantee.

Important information for the customer

Please note that returns within or outside the warranty period should always be in the original packaging. This measure effectively avoids unnecessary transport damage and any associated disputed ruling. Your equipment is optimally protected only in the original box, and keeping it in that box will ensure smooth processing.
