Specific warnings
Connect the pressure cooker only indoors and only to a properly installed
220-240V ~ power socket.
Only connect the pressure cooker to an easily accessible power outlet so that
you can quickly disconnect it in the event of a fault.
Do not operate the product if there is any visible damage or if the power cord
or plug is defective.
Do not immerse the main unit, the power cord or the power plug in water or
other liquids.
Use the pressure cooker only with the container provided.
Before each use, check that the pressure valve and the float valve are not
clogged.
Do not move the pressure cooker during operation.
Do not move but the pressure cooker when it is under pressure.
Never move the product if it contains hot liquids.
Make sure the lid is closed tightly before operation.
Never touch hot surfaces and only use the dedicated handles for opening and
transport.
Never try to open the lid when the pressure cooker is under pressure. Never
force the lid to open.
Open the lid only when the pressure has been completely relieved via the
pressure valve and the cooker has cooled down.
Do not use the product if it is empty. Without liquids, the device can be
damaged. Always fill the pot with liquid, at least up to the minimum mark (2
cups).
Do not fill the pot to more than 2/3 of its capacity. When preparing foods
whose volume increases during cooking, such as rice or dehydrated vegetables,
do not exceed half the capacity.
Do not use the container on a gas stove or hob.
If cooked food is mushy, gently shake the pressure cooker before opening it to
prevent liquids from splashing out and causing burns.
Before each use check that the valve cover, the pressure valve and the float
valve are mounted correctly and are not damaged.
Never use the pressure cooker to fry food in oil.
When opening the pressure valve, always keep your hands, head and body away
from escaping steam. During cooking, steam jets are released vertically from
the centre of the pressure valve. Do not come into contact with hot steam.
Do not touch the pressure valve when the cooker is in operation. Open the
valve only after cooking to release the pressure. Do not use metal utensils,
use only the supplied rice spoon or a wooden spoon.
Safety devices
The pressure cooker has three safety devices.
Float valve
The float valve controls the pressure inside the pressure cooker. As pressure
builds up inside, the float valve rises, thus blocking the lid. When the float
valve blocks the lid, never try to force it to open. Use the pressure valve to
reduce the pressure.
Pin – lid blocking
The pin on the lid determines whether the float valve can rise and block the
lid. The float valve is unlocked, and therefore can rise, only when the lid is
correctly closed, and this can be seen based on its position (Fig. C). When
the lid is placed on the main unit with the symbol in correspondence with the
symbol , the pin protrudes halfway. By turning the lid counter clockwise
towards the closed position in correspondence with the symbol **, the pin
retracts, and the lid is correctly locked.
Pressure valve
The pressure valve is an essential part of safety and is required for cooking
under pressure. Before using the product, make sure that the pressure valve is
installed correctly and clean it regularly. To avoid injury and damage to the
device, make sure the pressure valve is not covered or blocked
To avoid injury and damage to the device, make sure the pressure valve is not
covered or blocked during operation. When opening the pressure valve, be sure
to keep your head, hands and other parts of your body away from escaping
steam.
First use
Remove all packaging and proceed with cleaning as indicated in the appropriate
section.
Secure the condensation water container to the outside of the main unit
(Fig.D).
Turn the cover clockwise to open it (Fig.E), the symbol must be in
correspondence with the symbol .
Remove the container for cleaning and reinsert it, making sure it touches the
bottom of the main unit.
Insert the power cable into the electrical connection (Fig.F).
Connect the power plug to a suitable power outlet.
Lid closure
Place the lid on the main unit using the handle.
Make sure the lid and base unit symbols match (Fig. C). The pin must be on the
left side.
Turn the cover counter clockwise towards the symbol to lock it. The lid pin
will move during this process. Once the lid is fully closed, the pin does not
pop out.
With the help of the lid lever, the lid can be inserted into the lid holder
(Fig.H).
Test run
Before starting to use the pressure cooker regularly, a test run should be
started. This will allow you to familiarize yourself with the appliance and
ensure that it is working properly.
Place the container in the main unit and fill it with approximately 750ml of
water.
Close the lid well and close the pressure valve by turning it to the left or
right to the locking position: the symbol placed on the valve cover must
correspond to the symbol (Fig. G).
Press the Manual button 8 times to select the Steam/Egg program. Then, using
the + and – buttons, set the duration to 2 minutes. The time is set correctly
when the display shows P: 02.
After about four seconds, the pressurization/heating phase begins. During the
ongoing process, an animation appears on the display.
If steam constantly escapes from the pressure valve during this process, check
the position of the valve and close it if necessary, by turning it to the left
or right.
Once the working pressure is reached, the display will show P: 02 again. The
selected program starts, and the timer counts down in 1-minute intervals.
During cooking, the pot may start a pressurization/heating process again. An
animation appears on the display again, but no action is required.
When the process is complete, the pressure cooker emits ten beeps and the Keep
Warm program starts automatically. End the test run by pressing the Keep
Warm/Cancel button.
Open the pressure valve by turning the valve cover to the left or right to the
symbol and release
the pressure. Now you can remove the lid.
Caution: If the pressure cooker is still under pressure, do not remove
the lid. If necessary, open the pressure valve again and let the steam out.
The lid must be easily removable.
Cooking programs
The control panel is divided into two sections/cooking modes:
Indirect selection buttons
Press the Manual button several times to view and choose the different
indirect selection programs.
Direct selection buttons**
The cooking programs can be selected by directly pressing the reated button.
The Slow cook/Bean and Keep Warm/Cancel buttons have two functions each. To
select the Bean program, press the button twice. To select Cancel, press the
button twice.

Pressure button
With the Pressure button you can set the intensity of the pressure between
high (high) and low (low) . A higher pressure increases the cooking
temperature.
Adjust button
With the Adjust button you can select between 3 cooking duration settings:
less (shorter cooking time), normal (normal cooking time) and more (longer
cooking time).
Manual button
By pressing the Manual button several times, it is possible to select between
the individual indirect cooking programs.
Timer button
With the Timer button you can set when to start the selected program. The
cooking process starts after the set time has elapsed.
– and + buttons
With the – or + buttons it is possible to extend or shorten the duration of
the program.
Delayed start
Attention: it is recommended to use this setting only for foods that can be
stored for a long time without refrigeration. Do not use for perishable food
such as meat or fish.
The start of the cooking process can be delayed from 30 minutes up to 24
hours. Select the desired program and press the Timer button. The start of the
program is automatically delayed by 30 minutes. You can manually set the start
delay in ten-minute intervals by repeatedly pressing or holding down the + or
