  • The cool box shall not be exposed to rain.
  • Do not pull the cable when removing the plug from the socket.
  • If the 12 V DC or 240 V AC cable is damaged it must be replaced with the same type.
  • Do not use the cool box if it shows visible damage.
  • Repairs on the cool box may only be executed by an approved repair agent.
  • Disconnect the power cable after each use and before cleaning.
  • Make sure the vents are not covered or obstructed during use.

  • Do not fill the cool box with any liquids or ice.
  • Make sure your hands are dry before handling the plug or turning on the cool box.
  • Do not connect to 230 V and 12 V at the same time.
  • If you are connecting the cool box to a 12 V socket in a car, the car engine must be turned on before plugging the cool box in.

Use

Connect a power cable to the cool box and a suitable power source, either 220-240 V or 12 V. Make sure the car engine is turned on if connecting the cool box to 12 V.

Turn on the cool box by pressing the Power button (3).

Press the temperature button (4) to enter temperature mode. The display starts to flash. Use the Up (1) and Down (2) buttons to set the temperature between -9-65 °C. The green indicator lights up when the cool box starts to cool down, and the red indicator lights up when the cool box starts to heat up. The current temperature shows on the display.

Press the Power button to turn off the cool box. The fan continues to run for about 30 seconds after you have turned off the cool box.

Note!

Even if the temperature can be set down to -9 °C, the lowest temperature for the cool box is 0 °C. The cool box’s ability to cool down content is affected by the ambient temperature (max. 25 °C below ambient), how much you have filled it and how often you open and close it. Hence, it can keep a temperature equivalent to what is recommended for your refrigerator at home (5-8 °C) provided that the temperature around the box is not higher than 33 °C. The maximum ambient temperature for the cool box is 35 °C so keep it in the shade on really hot days.

Tips

For best result, set the desired temperature and let the cool box cool down before storing cold food in it. Let hot food cool down before placing it in the cool box to avoid heat damage to the interior. Remember that the cool box is not intended to be used as a fridge or freezer. The cool box does not effectively cool down warm food or heat up cold food, but it maintains the temperature of the food stored in it.

Cleaning and maintenance

Disconnect the power cable before cleaning. Use warm water and mild detergent to wipe the inside and the outside of the box clean. Make sure no water enters any vents or electrical connections. Do not submerge it in water and do not use abrasive cleaners or bleach.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible cause Solution
The cool box does not appear to work. The cool box is not powered correctly.
  • Make sure the power source and cable work correctly.
  • Make sure that the fuse in the cigarette lighter tip is not damaged. Glass fuse 5×20 mm, Fl 0 A/250 V.

The cool box does not appear to be working, but the display is illuminated, and the internal fan can be heard.|

  • The ambient temperature is above the maximum level of 35 °C degrees.
  • The cool box may be filled with too much food.

|

  • Check the temperature and move to a cooler location.
  • Make sure that the vents are not blocked.
  •  Remove some of the food.

The cool box is not getting as cold as the set temperature.| The cooling effect depends on the ambient temperature. The ambient temperature is too hot.|

  • The cool box is capable of cooling 25 °C below ambient temperature.
  • Move the cool box to the shade to help it maximise the cooling effect.

The cool box is not getting as warm as the set temperature.| The temperature of the box depends on the ambient temperature. The ambient temperature is too cold.| Set the temperature to the max setting of 65 °C to get the cool box as warm as possible.
