SAFETY & WARNINGS

  • Please read all the instructions carefully before using this product.

  • Be sure to unplug the power cord when cleaning an LCD. Never clean it with liquid detergent or spraying detergent but wipe it with a damp soft cloth. If it is still not clean, please use special detergent designed for LCD screens.

  • Do not use accessories other than those authorised by Kogan.com.

  • When disconnecting the power cord or power adapter, always remember to hold the plug instead of pulling the wire to unplug the power cord.

  • Keep the display away from water sources such as bathtubs, washbasins, sinks or washing machines. Do not place the display on a wet floor or near a swimming pool or press the LCD surface with fingers or hard objects.

  • The grooves and openings on the back and bottom of the shell are for ventilation purposes. To prevent the vents from obstruction:
    o Do not place the display on a bed, sofa, carpet, or other similar surfaces.
    o Do not place the display near to or on a radiator or heater.
    o Do not put the display into an embedded enclosure unless it is provided with adequate ventilating equipment.

  • Only the type of power source indicated on the nameplate applies to this display. If you have any questions on the type of power source you use, please consult a qualified electrician.

  • For safety, the display or the power adapter is equipped with a three-pin plug power cord. The third pin of this plug is for grounding and only compatible with a socket that is correctly grounded. In case that your socket is not compatible with the plug, please contact an electrician to replace the socket.

  • Do not attempt to repair the display by yourself, as there is high voltage or other risks when the shell is opened or moved, Contact Kogan.com for any maintenance or repair enquiries.

  • In one of the following cases, please unplug the display or the power adapter and contact Kogan.com for assistance:
    o The power cord or the plug is impaired or worn.
    o The display falls off or the shell is damaged.
    o The display is abnormal.

  • Please place the display in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place.

  • Store the display in the temperature range of -10°C-60°C. Temperatures outside this range may cause permanent damage to the display.

INSTALLATION

Display installation

  • Install the display adjacent to an easily-reachable AC power socket.
  • Used a suitable wall-mounted bracket or the included base for safe installation.
  • To prevent injury, situate the display on a stable and level surface or fixed to a firm wall.
  • For wall-mounting, consult a professional installer. Improper installation may cause instability of the display.
  • Position the display away from sources of mechanical vibration.
  • Ensure the display is located in an area free of insects.
  • Do not install the display directly opposite to an air-conditioner, or its inner panel may become dewed and cause failure.
  • Do not place this machine in places with a strong electromagnetic field, as it may be interfered with by electromagnetic waves and become damaged.

Display connection

Connect an appropriate cable to the DP/HDMI display output from the PC, and then connect the other end of the display cable to the corresponding signal input port of the display.

Audio out (3.5mm)

This monitor’s 3.5mm port supports audio output through headphones or external speakers.

USBupgrade

The USB port is used only for USB storage devices to update the monitor firmware.
Do not insert any other USB devices.

ASSEMBLY

Base installation

  1. Attach the base to the support with 2x M4x16 screws.

  2. Insert the assembled base obliquely into the rear ho arrow and press down to lock the base into place.

Removing the base

  1. Push up on the small slider near the VESA cover plate of the base.

  2. Lift the base and then take out it in the direction of the arrow.

OPERATION

Power indicator light

When the display is working normally, the blue indicator light is on; when it is in standby, the indicator will blink red. If a display signal is received in the standby state, the monitor will automatically return to the operating mode. As the display is still powered in the standby state, the power cord should be unplugged when the display is not used.

Safety protection

When the video signals of the PC exceed the frequency range of the display, the horizontal and field synchronising signals will be shut down to protect the display. The PC output frequency will need to be manually adjusted to an acceptable range to make the display work normally.
