B Installation
To install the VC882, refer to the installation diagram above and the instructions below.
- Connect an HDMI video source to the unit’s HDMI input port. Optionally secure the HDMI cable with the corresponding cable lock screw for ATEN LockPro™.
- Connect an HDMI display to the unit’s HDMI output port. Optionally secure the HDMI cable with the corresponding cable lock screw for ATEN LockPro™.
- Connect an audio mixer to one of the unit’s audio in ports. Optionally, use the audio embedder switches (mode 1) to enable or disable audio embedding for the connected audio inputs.
- Connect an audio amplifi er or a set of speakers to the unit’s audio out ports. Optionally, use the audio extractor switches (mode 2) to enable or disable audio extraction for the connected audio inputs.
- Plug one end of the power adapter into the unit’s power jack, and the other end to an AC power source. The power LED shall be lit in blue.
- Power on all connected equipment.
