Layout
- This is a self-contained kit and cannot be extended.
- The Flexline LEDs are mounted on sticky tape which can be stuck to most surfaces.
- The Flexline LEDs can be shortened to a minimum of 100mm or multiples of 100mm.
- Plan the desired layout of this fitting carefully, ensuring the cables will reach the distance between the LED driver and the Flexline connector position.
- Avoid locating any cables in positions that would cause a hazard. Position cables and Flexline LEDs away from areas where they may be at risk of being cut, trapped, or damaged.
- Ensure the remote receiver is positioned correctly so it can receive a signal from the remote without obstruction.
- The remote receiver has a maximum operating distance of 5m.
Basic Installation
- Position the plug, remote control sensor, and in-line LED driver next to the indoor mains outlet socket that the system will connect to. Do not plug in at this stage.
- After deciding the layout of the Flexline strip, ensure that the cable can connect when in the desired position.
- It is possible for the Flexline strip to be shortened. This can be done in multiples of 100mm. Look for the line on the strip with four copper pads with the scissors symbol, as shown below in Fig. 1.
- Cut using a sharp pair of scissors. Do not cut anywhere else on the strip as this may cause the Flexline strip to stop working.
- Connect the color temperature controller connector to the connector on the Flexline strip. Ensure connector is inserted correctly as shown in Fig. 2.
Commissioning
- Check all connections are tight. Plugin and test.
- Peel the adhesive backing off of the strips and stick in place.
- Your strips are now ready for use.
