Installing the lampholder
Disconnect the power to the lamp. Screw the DiO lampholder onto the lamp
socket and install the bulb on the DiO lampholder.
Caution: Do not use the DiO lamp holder on a lamp with a completely
closed shade or a closed ceiling light on top.
Linking the lampholder with a DiO 1.0 device
This product is compatible with all DiO 1.0 devices: remote control, wireless wall switch, and motion detector, as well as with the DiO home automation control unit, to control it with a smartphone or by voice (via a Google Home or Amazon Alexa smart speaker).
2.1. Linking the lampholder with remote control, switch, or DiO 1.0 detector
- Connect your DiO lamp holder into the socket of your lamp or ceiling light and install an E27 bulb.
- Bring the remote control (or DiO switch, sensor) close to the lampholder.
- Within 6 seconds, press the ‘ON’ button on the remote control, wireless switch, or DiO detector, the lamp will flash twice to confirm the association.
Warning: If you do not press the ‘ON’ button of the device within 6
seconds, the lamp holder will exit learning mode. You must switch off your
lamp for 6 seconds and then switch it on again to put the lamp holder back
into learning mode.

memory is full, adding the 33rd device will delete the 1st device added

Troubleshooting

- Check that the lampholder has been installed correctly in the lamp socket.
- Check the polarity of the battery (ies) in the device and/or that they are not depleted.
- Check that the switch of your lamp or ceiling light is on.
Important: A minimum distance of 1-2 m is necessary between two DiO
