MEN’S URINAL
With Super Absorbent Pad
Mens Urinal Hygienic Bag
Automated wash-disinfectors commonly used to clean and decontaminate
traditional urinals may be a source of pathogens. The rise in Clostridium
difficile, MRSA, VRE, and healthcare acquired infections (HAI) over the past
decade are of great concern to infection preventionists.¹
Studies have shown that residual contaminants remain following standard
cleaning methods and that personnel is potentially exposed to aerosolized
contaminants during transport and emptying of urinals.²
Using the cost effective, disposable CareBag® Men’s Urinal with super
absorbent pad is an environmental control that lessens the risk of contact and
environmental contamination. The unique super absorbed pad turns up to 16 oz
(450ml) of urine to gel in seconds. By slowing down the urea decay process and
reducing air oxidation, the gel significantly reduces unpleasant odors and
decreases the risk of contact exposure.
