Safety Instructions

  1. Read instructions – All the safety and operating instructions should be read before the appliance is operated.

  2. Retain instructions – The safety and operating instructions should be retained for future reference.

  3. Head Warnings – All warnings and cautions on the appliance and in the operating instructions should be adhered to.

  4. Follow instructions – All operating and use instructions should be followed.

  5. Water and Moisture – The appliance should not be used near water, e.g. near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, in a wet basement, or near a swimming pool or the like.

  6. Wall or Ceiling Mounting – The appliance should not be mounted to a wall or ceiling.

  7. Ventilation – The appliance should be situated so that its location or position does not interfere with its proper ventilation. For example, the appliance should not be  situated on a bed, sofa, rug or similar surface that may block the ventilation openings, or placed in a built-in installation, such as a bookcase or cabinet, that may impede the  flow of air through the ventilation openings.

  8. Heat – The appliance should be situated away from neat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other appliances (including amplifiers) that produce heat.

  9. Power Sources – The product should be operated only with the type of power supply indicated on the marking label. If you are not sure of the type of power supply to your  home, consult your product dealer or local power company. For products intended to operate from battery power, or other sources, refer to the operation instructions.

  10. Power-Cord Protection – Power supply cords should be routed so that they are not likely to be walked on or pinched by items placed upon or against them, paying  particular attention to cords at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the appliance.

  11. Cleaning – Unplug this product from the wall outlet before cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners. Use a damp cloth for cleaning.

  12. Nonuse periods –  The power cord of the appliance should be unplugged from the outlet when left when left unused for a long period of time.

  13. Object and Liquid Entry – Care should be taken so that objects do not fall and liquids are not spilled into the product case through product openings.

  14. Damage Requiring Service – Unplug this product from the wall outlet and take it to qualified service personnel under the following conditions.
    a) When the power-supply cord or plug is damaged.
    b) If liquid has been spilled into, or objects have fallen into the product.
    c) If the product has been exposed to rain or water.
    d) If the product does not operate when used according to the operating instructions.
    Adjust only those controls that are covered by the operating instructions as an improper adjustment of other controls may interfere with the product’s normal operation.
    e) If the product has been dropped or damaged in any way.
    f) When the product exhibits a distinct change in performance-this indicates a need for service.

  15. Servicing – The user should not attempt to service the product beyond that described in the operating instruction. All servicing should be referred to qualified service personnel.

  16. Power Lines – An outside antenna system should not be located in the vicinity of overhead power lines, or other electric light or power circuits, or where it can fall into  such power lines or circuits. When installing an outside antenna system, extreme care should be taken to keep from touching power lines or circuits as contact with them might be fatal.

  17. Cleaning – Unplug this product from the wall outlet before cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners. Use a damp cloth for cleaning.

  18. Lightning – For added protection for this product during a lightning storm, or when it is left unattended and unused for long periods of time, unplug it from the wall  outlet and disconnect the antenna or cable system. This will prevent damage to the product due to lightning and power-line surges.

  19. Safety Check-Upon completion of any service or repairs to this product, ask the service technician to perform safety checks to determine that the product is in proper  operation condition.

  20. Overloading-Do not overload wall outlets, extension cords, or integral convenience receptacles as this can result in a risk of fir or electric shock.

  21. The apparatus and  AC/DC adaptor shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on apparatus and AC/DC adaptor.

  22. The AC/DC adaptor is used as disconnect device. The AC/DC adaptor of apparatus should not be obstructed OR should be easily accessed during intended used. To be  completely disconnect the power input, the AC/DC adaptor of apparatus shall be disconnected from the mains.

  23. Battery shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.

Unit Power Supply
This unit is designed to operate with AC/DC adaptor.
Operation with AC/DC adaptor
Insert the small plug of adaptor into the DC jack.
Insert the AC/DC adaptor into any convenient having AC 100-240V 50/60Hz household outlet in vertical or horizontal direction.
The display will be on, indicating that it is powered on.

BACKUP SYSTEM

  1. The unit is equipped with a backup system. It requires 2 ‘AAA’ size batteries. Insert the batteries into the battery compartment and make sure the positive and negative (+  or -) sides of the batteries are in contact with the corresponding terminals in the battery compartment.
  2. In the event of power failure or disconnection of the power cord, the power supply is auto-matically switched to the backup battery, keeping the time and alarm settings.
  3. To open the battery compartment, press the battery cover from the side and pull it.
  4. When replacing the battery, do not disconnect the power adapter. Otherwise, all clock and alarm settings will be lost.

SETTING TIME

  1. Press and hold the TIME button for 2 seconds to enter the clock setting mode.
  2. Press the HOUR or MIN button to select 12H or 24H hour format. Press the TIME button to confirm.
  3. Press the HOUR button to set the hour and MIN button to set the minute. Press the TIME button to confirm.

SETTING THE ALARM 1

  1. Press and hold the AL 1 button for 2 seconds to enter the alarm 1 time setting mode.
  2. Press HOUR to set the hour and MIN button to set the minute. Then press the AL 1 button to confirm.
  3. Press HOUR or MIN button to select h or n. (note: h—–buzzer volume is high, n—–buzzer volume is low.)
  4. Press the AL 1 button to confirm.
  5. Press the ALARM 1 button to turn on the alarm 1 function till the alarm 1 indicator appears on LED display.

SETTING THE ALARM 2

  1. Press and hold the AL 2 button for 2 seconds to enter the alarm 2 time setting mode.
  2. Press HOUR to set the hour and MIN button to set the minute. Then press the AL 2 button to confirm.
  3. Press HOUR or MIN button to select h or n. (note: h—–buzzer volume is high, n—–buzzer volume is low.)
  4. Press the AL 2 button to confirm.
  5. Press the ALARM 2 button to turn on the alarm 2 function till the alarm 2 indicator appears on LED display.
    (note: the buzzer is located at the bottom of the unit, please make sure that nothing will cover the buzzer while using the alarm function.)

TURNING THE ALARMS ON OR OFF
When the display shows clock time, press AL 1 – or AL2 button to enable or disable the respective alarm. The corresponding Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 indicator will be on when the alarm is enabled.

SNOOZE

  1. When the alarm goes off, the corresponding Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 indicator will flash on the display.
  2. Press the DIMMER/SNOOZE button to temporarily deactivate it. The snooze function will extend your alarm in increments of 9 minutes.
  3. The corresponding Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 indicator will flash on the display during the snooze period.
  4. To cancel the snooze and the alarm, press AL OFF button.

TO STOP THE ALARM WHEN ALARM GOES OFF

  1. Press AL OFF button to stop the alarm.
  2. Alarm indicator will still stay on and the alarm will go off the next day you set.

TO DISABLE THE ALARM

  1. Press AL 1 button repeatedly to disable Alarm 1 while the alarm is not going off. Press AL 2 button repeatedly to disable Alarm 2 while the alarm is not going off.
  2. Corresponding alarm indicator will be off and the alarm will not go off until you enable it again.

DISPLAY DIMMER

  1. Press the DIMMER/SNOOZE button to change the brightness level of the display: 100%>75%>50%>25%>Off
  2. Default setting of the dimmer level is “100%”.

QI WIRELESS CHARGING

  1. Place your Qi enabled smartphone on the center of the wireless charging pad.
  2. Please check if your phone screen shows charging status
    If your phone is not charging;
    -Check if your device supports Qi wireless charging
    -Place mobile device in center
    -Remove the case with magnet, metal, or thicker material than 0.12’’(3mm)
  3. Charges through most cases of Polycarbonate (PC) or Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) material up to 0.12’’(3mm)
  4. Compatibility (Qi Wireless Charging Pad)
