INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing the Scoop & Learn Ice Cream Cart™ at Deluxe. Serve up sweet pretend play with four flavors of ice cream, three ice cream toppings and more to create tons of delicious and imaginative combinations! Use the magic scooper to scoop up the ice cream and ice cream toppings, then ring up the customer’s order using the cash register. On the side tray, pick an ice pop from four flavors and choose one of four ice pop toppings. Pretend money is included for extra pretend-play interactions and to reinforce counting.

All packing materials such as tape, plastic sheets, packaging locks, removable
tags, cable ties, cords, and packaging screws are not part of this toy and
should be discarded for your child’s safety.

GETTING STARTED
Battery Removal and Installation
- Make sure the unit is turned Off.
- Find the battery cover located on the bottom of the unit, use a coin or a screwdriver to loosen the screw, and open the battery cover.
- Remove old batteries by pulling up one end of each battery.
- Install 3 new AA batteries following the diagram inside the battery box.
- Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure.
BATTERY NOTICE
- Use new alkaline batteries for maximum performance.
- Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended.
- Do not mix different types of batteries: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable, or new and used batteries.
- Do not use damaged batteries.
- Insert batteries with the correct polarity.
- Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.
- Remove exhausted batteries from the toy.
- Remove batteries during long periods of non-use.
- Do not dispose of batteries in a fire.
- Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
- Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging(if removable).
- Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
ASSEMBLY
With the Scoop & Learn Ice Cream Cart™ Deluxe safety comes first. To ensure your child’s safety, adult assembly is required. Once assembled, the unit cannot be disassembled.

Insert the two Canopy Poles into the canopy and insert the poles into the top of the cart.

Insert the Cart Handle into the top of the cart.

Attach the Side Tray to the top of the cart. This can be disassembled after assembly.

Please securely adhere the labels to the cart as indicated below:
PRODUCT FEATURES

Off/Low/High Volume Control
Switch Slide the Off/Low/High Volume Switch to turn the toy on and select the volume.

Magic Scooper
Place the Magic Scooper on the top of an Ice Cream Scoop or Ice Cream Topping to easily pick them up. To release the Ice Cream Scoop or Ice Cream Topping , press the button on the side of the Magic Scooper.

Order/Activity Cards
For guided play, insert one of the six double-sided Order/Activity Cards into the Card Reader.

Wheels
Push the cart around to hear songs and music. -
Syrup Pump
Slide to choose from three flavors, then press down on the Syrup Pump to hear numbers as you count along.

Bell Button
Press to hear bell sounds and when prompted during guided play with the Order/Activity Cards.

Coin Button
Press to hear coin sounds and numbers as you count along.

Butterfly
Slide the butterfly from side to side to make the ice cream swirl colors change.

Ice Pops and Ice Pop Toppings
Place the Ice Pop Toppings on the raised bumps of the Side Tray and place the sticks of the Ice Pops into the slots on the Side Tray.

Play Money Bills and Coins
Store in one of the two Storage Drawers.
TO BEGIN PLAY
Activate Normal Play Mode
Slide the Off/Low/High Switch to the Off position, then slide to Low
or High volume to turn the toy On.
ACTIVITIES

Ice Cream and Ice Cream Toppings
Pick up Ice Cream Scoops or Ice Cream Toppings using the Magic Scooper. It will recognize the flavor or color of the Ice Cream Scoop or Ice Cream Topping. -
Order Cards
Insert an Order Card into the Card Reader to hear the customer’s order. Listen to the order and the ordered song and remember the ingredients needed. Build the treat in the correct sequence and ring the bell to finish the order. -
Colors Activity Card
Insert the C olors Activity Card into the Card Reader. Listen to the question and try to find the correct Ice Cream Scoop or Ice Cream Topping color using the Magic Scooper. -
Counting Activity Card
Insert the Counting Activity Card into the Card Reader. Listen to the question and press the Syrup Pump the correct number of times. -
Flavors Activity Card
Insert the Flavors Activity Card into the Card Reader. Listen to the question and try to find the correct Ice Cream Scoop flavor and learn a fun fact about where the flavor comes from. -
Numbers Activity Card
Insert the Numbers Activity Card into the Card Reader. Listen to the question and press the Coin Button the correct number of times. -
Stacking Activity Card
Insert the Stacking Activity Card into the Card Reader. Stack as many Ice Cream Scoops and Ice Cream Toppings on the Ice Cream Cone as you can before the music stops. When you’re done, press the bell. -
Creativity Activity Card
Insert the Creativity Activity Card into the Card Reader. Create your own ice cream cone using the Magic Scooper or Syrup Pump. Press the bell when you’re done to hear the daily special. -
Push Cart
Push the cart for fun music and songs, and exercise gross motor skills. -
Ice Pops Menu, Ice Pops and Ice Pop Toppings
Look at the Ice Pops Menu to learn the flavors of the Ice Pops and Ice Pop Toppings or make one of the menu specials. Mix and match to create your own and name your tasty treat. -
Play Money Bills and Coins
Use the Play Money Bills and Coins for additional pretend play interactions and to reinforce counting.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
- Keep the unit and accessories clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
- Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from direct heat sources.
- Remove the batteries if the unit will not be in use for an extended period of time.
- Do not drop the unit on hard surfaces and do not expose the unit to moisture or water.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If for some reason the unit stops working, please follow these steps:
- Turn the unit OFF.
- Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries.
- Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries.
- Turn the unit back ON. The unit will now be ready to play again.
- If the unit still does not work, install a new set of batteries.
Environmental Phenomena
The unit may malfunction if subjected to radio-frequency interference. It should revert to normal operation when the interference stops. If not, it may become necessary to turn the power OFF and back ON , or remove and reinstall the batteries. In the unlikely event of an electrostatic discharge, the unit may malfunction and lose memory, requiring the user to reset the device by removing and reinstalling the batteries.
