Function of buttons on the front panel

  1. Power button: Press this button to turn on or off the machine.
  2.   Mode button: press to switch modes (switching order: BT -> AUX -> COAXIAL -> HD ARC -> OPTICAL) .
  3.   Previous: track button: press for the previous track /press and hold for volume down.
  4. Play/Pause button: press to play/pause, press and hold to disconnect Bluetooth when in Bluetooth mode.
  5. Next track button: press for the next track /press and hold for volume up
  6. At the volume + and-(independent control of the host and audio source input)
  7. Previous song and next song (only applicable to Bluetooth mode)

  1. “BT”: Bluetooth input mode, shown as bt on the display Donner MSb2
  2. “AUX”: wire input mode, shown as AUX on the display
  3. “COAXIAL”: the coaxial input mode, shown as COA on the display
  4. “HD ARC”: HD ARC input mode, shown as Arc on the display
  5. “OPTICAL”: optical input mode, shown as OPT on the display

Functions of the buttons on the rear panel

  1.   HD ARC input jack: connect TV and set-top box HD ARC output jack to this jack.
  2.   OPTICAL input jack: connect the optical output jack of TV, set-top box, DVD, etc. to this jack.
  3. COAXIAL IN jack: connect the coaxial output jack of TV, set-top box, DVD, etc. to this jack.
  4. AUX LINE IN jack: connect the LINE OUT of TV, set-top box, DVD, cell phone, etc. to this jack.
  5. R-channel output terminal: connect your right speaker system to this terminal via RCA connection wire.
  6.   Mega bass output terminal: connect your subwoofer to this terminal.
  7. DC IN terminal: connect the power adapter to this terminal

Remote control operation

  1. The remote control should be operated within 6 meters and 30° range in front of the receiver.

  2.  Make sure there is no major obstacle between the remote control and the machine.

  3. The remote control should be kept away from light, for high-intensity light will affect its performance.

  4. Power button: Press this button to turn on the speaker or turn it to the standby mode

  5. Mute button: Press this button in any signal mode, the machine mutes or unmutes

  6. AUX button: Press the “AUX” button to select “Line In Mode” for audio input “AUX” shows on the display”

  7. BT button: Press the “BT” button and select Bluetooth mode for audio input The display shows “bt”

  8. UNPAIR button: Under Bluetooth mode, when a Bluetooth device is connected to the speaker, press this button to disconnect the current connection and provide a window for other Bluetooth devices to connect

  9. + button: Press this button to increase the volume The display shows the volume increasing value, 32 at maximum

  10. – button: Press this button to lower the volume The display shows the volume lowering value, 0 at minimum

  11. Previous track button: In BT mode, press this button to select the previous track

  12. Next track button: In BT mode, press this button to select the next track

  13. Play/pause button: When playing music in BT mode, press this button once to pause, and then press again to resume

  14. CO button: Press the “CO” button to select coaxial input mode for audio input “cox” shows on the display”

  15. SPDIF button: Press the “SPDIF” button to select optical input mode for audio input “opt” shows on the display

  16. ARC button: Press the “ARC” button to select HD ARC input mode for audio input “Arc” shows on the display

  17. MUSIC button: Press the “MUSIC” button to select music effect as speaker sound effect “EQ1” shows on the display

  18. MOVIE button: Press the “MOVIE” button to select theater effect as speaker sound effect “EQ2” shows on the display”

Please use the supporting connection cable that comes with the speaker to ensure the correctness of each connection, and ensure that when the speaker is indifferent connections, the audio input selection settings are in line with the corresponding audio source interface, otherwise, it will lead to no sound from the audio equipment because of incorrect mode selection. In the digital channel and HD ARC channel, make sure that the audio input device settings for digital output and CEC function is turned on, otherwise, it will lead to no sound from the audio equipment.

Speaker cable connection

  1.  When the right speaker needs to be placed separately, use the connection cable comes with the machine to connect the R output of the rear of the machine and the R input interface of the right speaker
  2.  Subwoofer connection: connect the subwoofer connection cable to the SW OUT connector of the machine

Wall installation

  1. Use a driver, a hand drill or a screw gun to screw a predrilled hole on the wall. Press the drywall anchor in until the start of the threaded part, or use a drill driver slowly to install the drywall anchor. Then drive the screw into the drywall anchor. Same way to install the other drywall anchors and screws.
  2. Put the swivel bracket on those screws. Set the angle that the speakers are focused on you, and use the drill driver slowly to drive the screw till tight.DONNER MSb2 Detachable High-Power Speaker fig-8

Troubleshooting

If you experience any of the following difficulties while using the machine, please use this troubleshooting guide to help you solve the problem. If the problem persists, please consult your nearest dealer.

  1. Bluetooth can’t connect
    Restart the machine, delete all Bluetooth devices on the mobile phone, and search for “Donner M51-1” pairing connection. If the screen is always on, it proves that there are other devices connected, please disconnect it yourself.

  2. No sound
    Please check the status of the output terminal, and the machine switches to the corresponding input status. Example: The TV uses optical fiber output, and the speaker switches to optical fiber mode.

  3. Noise
    Generally, speakers with white background noise are normal. If there is a “squeaking” sound, it is caused by the input wire is not firmly inserted or your signal source, please replace the wire or signal source and test again.

  4. HD cannot be used
    Our equipment is HD ARC function, please check whether your cable or output end is ordinary HD 1.4, 2.0, 2.1, the above three modes may not be compatible

Precautionary measures

  1. Power: first check whether the power adapter matches the local power supply voltage, and then connect the power, otherwise it may cause damage to the power supply.
  2. Ventilation: the location of the equipment should meet the ventilation requirements. Surrounding objects will not interfere with its proper ventilation. The machine shall placed at least 10cm way from the wall
  3. Water and moisture: do not use this equipment near water, such as near swimming pools, basements and other moist places.
  4.  Electric shock: if a metal object (such as a hairpin or needle) enters into contact with the interior of this device, it may cause a dangerous electric shock. For families with children, never let children put things, especially metal, inside the machine.
  5.  Disassemble the case: do not open the device, otherwise the device and the circuitry may be damaged, or you may get electric shock. If a foreign object enters the machine, please contact your dealer or service company.
  6.  Odor: if you smell odor or smoke, please immediately turn off the power and unplug the power cord.
