Thank you for purchasing the Donner HUSH-I Silent Guitar. In order to get the best performance and enjoy more fun in the silent guitar, it is strongly recommended that you read this user manual before using it. Please store this user manual in a safe place for future reference.
NOTE
If you abide by the following simple rules, Donner HUSH- I silent guitar will
provide you with reliable service all year round:
Where to store the guitar
• In order to avoid deformation, discoloration or more serious damage, do not
store it in the following environments.
– Direct sunlight (e.g. near a window)
– High temperature (e.g. close lo heat source, outdoors or in a car during the
daytime)
– Excessive humidity
– Excessive dust
– Strong vibration
Turn off the power supply when connecting
• In order to avoid damaging the silent guitar and other connected equipment (such as audio system), please turn off the power switch of all relevant equipment before connecting or disconnecting the audio cable.
Handling and transportation
– Never apply excessive force lo the controls, connectors or other parts of
the instrument.
– Grab the plug firmly while unplugging the cables, never pull the audio
cables with force.
– Disconnect all cables before moving the instrument.
– Shocks caused by dropping , bumping the instrument, or placing heavy objects
on top of it, can result in scratches and even more severe damages.
Cleaning
– Clean the guitar body with a dry and soft cloth.
– Spots or dirt which is difficult to remove can be wiped off with a slightly
water-dampened cloth.
– Do not use thinners and alcohol for cleaning the unit.
Electrical interference
• The instrument contains internal circuits, which may cause interference if
it is too close to the radio or television receiver. At this
time, please keep the instrument away from the affected equipment.
Power supply
– Please use 9V battery to power the product.
– Check whether the electrical appliances and battery contacts are clean, wipe
them with a slightly water-dampened cloth if necessary, and install them in
the correct polarity direction after drying.
– Children should not be allowed to replace the battery when there is no adult
supervision, and the 9V battery should be charged at the place which is out of
reach of children.
– If the product is not used for a long time, please remove the battery from
the battery compartment and keep ii properly.
-To avoid draining the battery, please unplug the earphone, Aux-in cable, and 6.35mm jack after playing.

PREAMP CONTROLLER
Turning the volume to maximum may cause white noise from your headphones, it is important for you to know that this is a normal phenomenon. The user can adjust the output level of the preamp according to the parameters of the headphones for a perfect listening experience.

ASSEMBLE THE STAND
This stand is not assembled to the silent guitar body when shipping from the
factory.
Step 1: Fully loosen [Stand attachment screw A] located in CD , and [Stand
attachment screw BJ located in ®·
Step 2: At first, insert the lower rod of the left stand (the shorter one)
fully into the bracket hole on the Silent Guitar’s main body.
Next, insert the lower rod of the right stand fully into the bracket hole ® ,
and insert the upper rod fully into the bracket hole @.
Note:
-
Make sure that upper and lower rods of the right stand are not reversed.

Make sure do not press down the rod firmly or ii may be damaged.
Step 3: After checking that both rods of the right and left stand are completely installed, please turn the attachment screws clockwise and fix the both stands to the Silent Guitar’s main body.
Not -
Please reverse the procedures of above steps if you need to disassemble stands. Make sure disassemble upper rod firstly from guitar body and then disassemble the lower rod.

Make sure to check whether the screw A and B are lightened prior to use. The instrument will sound noisy during the playing process when the screws are not lightened completely.

Please hold the guitar neck or guitar body when you carry the instrument. Hold only the left stand or right stand to carry the instrument will result in the damage of stands and fixed parts.
TURNG
Use a tuner, tuning tube, tuning fork, piano and other instruments to tune the
open string to the tone shown below.
• If the string tone is too high, loosen the string until the string tone is
slighHy lower than the alignment tone, and then tune ii while raising the
string tone.
- Play the standard tone “A” (A3: 440HZ) on instruments such as tuning forks, and then align the fifth open string to the same tone.
- Play the tone of the fifth siring in the fifth fret, and then adjust the fourth open siring to the same lone.
- Play the tone of the fourth string in the fifth fret and then align the third open string to the same tone.
- Play the tone of the third string in the fourth fret, and then align the second open string to the same tone.
- Play the tone of the second string in the fifth fret, and then align the first open string lo the same lone.m
- Play the tone of the sixth string in the fifth fret, and then adjust the tone of the fifth fret of the sixth string to the tone of the fifth open string.
STRINGS CHANGING
The end of the string is sharp and may cut the finger. Please pay attention to
this when changing strings.
Keep your face away from the instrument when changing strings or adjusting
strings. The strings may suddenly break, resulting in eye or other accidental
injuries.
- Pass the string through the corresponding string hole on the headstock.
- Take the string through the tuning peg behind the saddle.
- Turn the tuner in the correct direction so the string winds on the tuning peg from INSIDE the guitar. Refer to the “TUNING” section for tuning the guitar correctly after all six strings are arranged.
POWER SUPPLY
Install the battery
-
Make sure to use the 9V battery (Attached battery model: 1604G 6F22)
• Depending on the type of battery used, the use of manganese battery will excessively shorten the battery life. -
Slide the tab marked “OPEN” on the back of the silent guitar to the headstock, and then take out the battery box cover.

Attach the 9V battery to the battery snap and place it in the battery box.
When connecting the battery, pay special attention to the polarity mark(+/-) as shown in the figure. (reverse polarity may damage the circuit) -
Close the battery box cover.
• Be sure to insert the battery according to the + / – mark. Improper insertion may cause fire.
• In order to avoid possible damage to the Instrument and unnecessary power consumption due to battery leakage, please remove the battery from the instrument when it is not used for
a long time.
HOW TO USE THE GUITAR GIG BAG
When putting the silent guitar into the attached gig bag, please remove the stands on both sides from the guitar, and then put each component into the gig bag as shown in the figure below.
- Put the right stand into the special storage bag.
- Put the storage bag and the left stand into the stand storage inner bag which is in the guitar bag.
- Use the magic tape in the bag as shown in the figure below to fix the silent guitar in the bag.
Note:
- Do not put batteries and other accessories in the stand storage bag, so as to avoid damage and battery leakage after collision.
- Batteries and other accessories should be properly put in the accessory storage bag on the outside of the guitar bag.
Putting the instrument in the guitar bag does not guarantee that the
components will not be damaged.
The guitar bag is designed for the storage and transportation of the
instruments and dust prevention. Do not place the bridge side face down when
putting the instrument into the gig bag; Do not put any objects on the gig bag
or hit the gig bag to prevent any damage to the instrument.

equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the
interference by one or more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help
This device complies with part 15 of the FCC rules. Operation is subjectto the
following two conditions (1) this device may not cause harmful interference,
and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including
interference that may cause undesired operation.
This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits setforth for an
uncontrolled environment. This equipment should be installed and operated with
minimum distance 20cm between the radiator & your body.
