Loading trays and screen
- The top tray (with “TOP” moulded into the centre cap) must always be in the top position for proper operation.
- All five trays should be used during every operation, even if some are empty.
- It is best to dry one kind of food at a time (for example, all fruit or all vegetables).
- Always leave the trays in place until drying is complete. You may remove food from the trays when it has acceptably dried.
Always place food in a single layer on each tray for even drying. Do not
overlap food or crowd trays.
Use the mesh screen for drying herbs and small pieces of fruit or vegetables.
If using the mesh screen, place the screen in the tray before the food. For
best results, only use the mesh screen in the top two trays.
