Thank you for choosing one of our Algam Lighting products. Please read this user’s manual carefully and follow the instructions to avoid danger or damage to the unit due to mishandling. Keep this user’s guide for future reference.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The symbols shown above are internationally accepted symbols to warn of potential hazards related to the use of electrical dangers associated with the use of electrical equipment. If any of these symbols are present on your device, please read the following instructions:

Before using your equipment, we recommend that you read all the instructions
in this manual.
ATTENTION !
This device produces an intense and powerful light. Risk to the eyes. Do not
look directly into the beam.
DANGER !
Hazardous voltage, risk of electric shock. Do not open the product. To reduce
the risk of electric shock do not expose this equipment to rain or moisture.
ATTENTION !
Risk of burns. The exterior of the unit can become very hot. Do not touch
within 10 minutes of use.
ATTENTION !
Fire hazard. Keep all combustible and flammable materials away from the
materials away from the unit during operation.
DANGER !
Safety hazard. This appliance presents a significant risk of injury. Follow
the safety instructions.
Place the unit at least 50cm away from flammable materials and walls.
ATTENTION !
This product contains button cell batteries. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF
CHILDREN.
Ingestion may result in chemical burns, soft tissue perforation and death. Severe burns may occur within 2 hours of ingestion. Seek immediate medical attention.
Do not give to food or drink, and do not induce vomiting. If you have the battery packaging, present it to the doctors when you take over. Do not use if battery compartment is damaged or does not close. Do not allow children to replace batteries without adult supervision. Remove used batteries immediately and dispose of them in an appropriate recycling facility.
USAGE
Always select the correct battery size and type for the intended use. Follow
the instructions on the device. Always insert batteries correctly, paying
polarities (+ and -) marked on the battery and the equipment. Replace all
batteries in a set at the same time. Do not short-circuit batteries. Do not
charge batteries. Do not force discharge. Store batteries in a well-
ventilated, dry place at a moderate temperature.
INSTALLATION
- Unpack and check carefully for transport damage before using the product. Never put a damaged product into operation.
- This product must be installed with strong hooks of adequate size for the weight carried. The product must be screwed to the hooks and tightened properly to prevent it from falling due to vibrations. Also check that the structure (or hanging point) can support at least 10X the weight of the hanging unit. The device must be installed by a qualified person and must be placed out of reach of the public. It is necessary to use a secondary hanging system (safety sling) approved for the weight of the device.
- This unit is intended for indoor use only. Exposing the unit to rain or moisture may result in electric shock or fire.
- Do not place the unit, speakers or any other object on top of the power cord and make sure it is not pinched.
- For proper protection against electric shock, the unit must be connected to earth (ground). The electrical supply circuit must be equipped with a fuse or circuit breaker and a differential protection device.
- Power Disconnection Notice: To disconnect the device from the power source, the power plug must be removed from the power outlet. For this reason, the device must be placed in a position that allows constant, unobstructed access to the power outlet. This way, in case of an emergency, you can disconnect the power plug immediately.
- The unit should only be installed in a well ventilated area. Make sure that no ventilation slots are blocked. To ensure adequate ventilation, leave at least 20 cm of free air space around the sides and top of the unit.
USAGE
- This appliance must not be used by persons (including children) with limited physical, physiological or mental capabilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge, unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or are instructed by that person in the operation of the appliance.
- Never leave this equipment unattended.
- If you experience any problems with the unit, stop using it immediately. Do not attempt to repair it yourself. Contact your dealer or an authorized service center. There are no user replaceable parts.
- NEVER use the unit under the following conditions:
- In areas subject to vibration or bumps,
- In places where the ambient temperature is above 45 ° C or below 2 ° C.
- In areas exposed to excessive dryness or humidity (ideal conditions: between 35% and 80%).
- Never use the unit near flames, flammable or explosive materials or hot surfaces. Doing so may cause a fire.
- The exterior of the unit can become very hot. It is important to avoid contact with the unit during operation and for at least 10 minutes after use.
- It is important to use the supplied power cable (grounded cable).
- Before turning on the power, make sure that the voltage and frequency of the power supply match the power requirements of the unit, as described in this manual.
- Never cut or tamper with the power cord or plug. If a power cord is provided with a ground wire, it is required for safe operation! Risk of fatal electric shock!
- Always hold the power cord by the plug. Do not pull on the cord itself and never touch the power cord with wet hands as this may cause a short circuit or electric shock.
- Do not connect this device to a dimmer pack
- DO NOT allow liquids or objects to enter the unit. If liquid is spilled on the unit, immediately UNPLUG the power supply to the unit and contact customer service.
- You must ensure that the power cord never gets wet during operation. Before a thunderstorm and/or a lightning storm, unplug the unit from the mains.
- Under no circumstances should you open the housing of the device. If you do, your safety will not be assured. There are no operational components inside, only dangerous voltages that can give you a fatal shock!
SAFETY WARNING – RECHARGEABLE BATTERIE
- Follow the manufacturer’s instructions; failure to observe the safety instructions may result in serious property damage and serious personal injury.
- Do NOT modify the equipment without prior authorization. The battery must not be replaced by unauthorized persons..
- The battery must not be replaced by another brand or one with different technical specifications.
- Keep out of reach of children during use and/or charging.
CHARGING
- Use only the original charger supplied with the equipment.
- There is a danger of overcharging rechargeable batteries. The power supply to the equipment must be switched off after the batteries have been fully charged, and charging time must not exceed 2 hours.
- Adult supervision is required throughout the charging process.
- Products fitted with batteries must not be charged in environments temperature range [0-40°C].
- When charging, place the device and charger on a non-flammable, heat-resistant, non-conducting surface away from any flammable materials or sources.
- If the battery becomes too hot, remove it immediately from the charger and wait for the battery to cool before using or charging.
- Do not recharge equipment with deformed or swollen batteries.
USAGE
- Product battery may explode or emit toxic substances. Risk of fire or burns. Do not open, crush, tamper with, disassemble or incinerate.
- Products fitted with batteries must not be used in environments exceeding the temperature range [0-60°C].
- The product must not be exposed to excessive heat (e.g. sunlight, fire, etc.). Do not exceed a temperature of 60°C during use or storage. Avoid combustible materials around the battery area.
- Protect from water and moisture. Do not spill liquid on equipment, charger or battery.
- If the product or its battery is damaged, stop using the product immediately, and store the equipment and battery in a well-ventilated place, on a non-flammable, heat-resistant, non-conductive surface and away from all flammable materials or sources. Keep the equipment under surveillance and contact an authorized repairer.
- Unplug charger from wall socket after use.
- Consider environmental aspects when disposing of the battery. Follow local instructions for battery collection.
MAINTENANCE / SERVICE
- Never attempt to disassemble, repair or modify the unit yourself. Otherwise, the warranty becomes void. Repairs by unqualified persons may result in damage or malfunction. Please contact the nearest authorized service center. The light source contained in this fixture should only be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a person of equivalent qualification.
- Screens, lenses or UV filters should be replaced if they are visibly damaged to an extent that compromises their effectiveness, such as by deep cracks or scratches.
- The lamp should be replaced if it has been damaged or deformed by heat.
- Disconnect the unit from the mains before servicing.
- If the cable or flexible outer cord of this fixture is damaged, it must be replaced with a special cable or cord from the manufacturer or its service agent only.
- Never immerse the unit in water or any other liquid. Wipe only with a slightly damp cloth.
- CAUTION : To reduce the risk of fire replace fuse with same type and rating.
PRODUCT INSTALLATION
POWER SUPPLY
Power adapter included.
- Power IN: 100-240V~
- Power OUT: 16,8V DC 2000mA
DMX CONNECTION
Connection between laser lights and DMX must use the shied cable of diameter
more than 0.5mm. Please use the attached 3 pin XL plug/socket to connect the
DMX output/input interface. The connection between socket and cable as below
(note the plug/socket’s 3 pin number and position).

When using standard DMX512 control signal, the last device’s output interface
must be connected to a DMX plug.
This plug is putting a 120 ohm resistance between “canon” plug’s 2 pin and 3
pin. Showing as below pic. Sticking this plug into the last device’s signal
output interface, it will avoid the interference during the process of signal
transmission.
RIGGING
Attention! The installation must be carried out by qualified service personal only. Improper installation can result in serious injuries and /or damage to property. Overhead rigging required extensive experience! Working load limits should be respected, Certified installation materials should be used, the installed device should be inspected regularly for safety

controller. Press again, it’s 25% speed, press the 2nd time, it’s 50% speed,
press the 3rd time,
it’s 75% speed, press the 4th time, it’s 100% speed. Press again to turn off
the strobe function.

| % mode will enable you to run the color pulse programs on the product. Press
on the remote
controller, display shows “CC15”. Press or to either increase or decrease the
speed of program. Press to turn off the color pulse mode.

7 SOUND| Sound-Active mode will enable the product to respond to the music.

9 FADE| It is a color gradient mode. Press on the remote controller, then

to choose your Wanted colour. Press the 1st time, it is 20% brigtness, press
the 2nd time, it is
40% birghtness, press the 5th time, it is 100% bightness, press the 6th time,
turn off the manual color
which you chosen.
WIRELESS DMX
This ALGAM LIGHTING fixture is equipped with a DMX wireless transmission system. “WIRELESS DMX”.
PAIRING YOUR DMX FIXTURE
- Connect the transmitter (Algam Lighting DMX-WT) to your DMX controller OUTPUT or turn ON the EVENTPAR MINI set up as transmitter.
- Power up transmitter and the EVENTPAR MIN receiver.
- Press the pairing button on the EVENTPAR MINI’s WIRELESSDMX receiver 2 for 4 seconds, and the LED 3 will flash blue. When you release the button, the LED 3 turns white, indicating that your receiver is waiting to be paired.
- Press now on transmitter button to start pairing. Both receiver and transmitter will blink rapidly (transmitter in blue color and receiver in green color). The pairing is processing. Once pairing is done, the transmitter status LED is now fixed blue color and receiver status LED is fixed green color.
If Transmitter or receiver looses DMX signal, the status LED will blink slowly
The EVENTPAR MINI fixture is automatically set as «Receiver» if the fixture is set in DMX mode and if no DMX signal is received by the connector «DMX IN».
The EVENTPAR MINI fixture is automatically set as «Transmitter» if it receives a DMX signal on its input «DMX IN» or if it is set up in : AUTO, COLO, STAT or SOUN mode.
ADD A FIXTURE IN AN ACTIVE GROUP
- Press and hold 3 seconds on receiver button on your new fixture to reset the pairing until the status LED becomes white.(this means that receiver is now ready to be paired).
- Press now on transmitter button to start pairing. Both receiver and transmitter will blink rapidly (transmitter in blue color and receiver in green color). The pairing is processing. Once paring is done, the transmitter status LED is now fixed blue color and receiver status LED is fixed green color. The other fixtures already paired in this group with this transmitter remain paired of course.
SET UP A NEW GROUP
To set up a new group is very easy. You need one more transmitter of course.
Keep the existing groups active , and start the procedure above called «
Pairing you DMX fixture».
NOTES
This DMX wireless system from Algam Lighting is not limited in number of
groups and in number of fixtures connected in a group.
