Power depletion warning function
When the battery is nearing the end, the second hand will move at two-second
intervals instead of the normal one-second intervals. In this case, have the
battery replaced with a new one as soon as possible.
The watch will remain accurate while the secondhand moves at two-second
intervals.
Note: The availability of this function varies depending on the caliber.
Features of the solar watch
This watch is a solar-powered watch containing a solar cell underneath the
dial to convert any form of light into ”electrical energy“ and store the power
in a secondary battery.
Unlike conventional quartz watches, this watch does not use a silver oxide
battery, so there is no need to change the battery.
Running time
The expected running time from full charge to stoppage will be around 4
months.
Power
The expected runtime from full charge to a standstill is approximately 4
months.
Charging the watch
When you start the watch or when the remaining energy in the secondary battery is very low, charge it sufficiently by exposing the watch to light. lt is not necessary to fully charge the watch. However, it is important to charge the watch sufficiently, especially when charging for the first time.
Caution
When charging the watch, do not place it too close to a fluorescent lamp or
other light sources, otherwise, the watch temperature will become extremely
high and parts inside the watch may be damaged.
To prevent energy depletion
Avoid covering the watch face with your clothing while wearing the watch. When
the watch is not in use, leave it in a brightly lit place for als long as
possible. Make sure that the watch temperature does not exceed 50°C.
