IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING!
Please be aware of the following hazards: electric shock, rotating fan blades,
and heated surfaces. Before cleaning or maintaining the equipment, make sure
it’s unplugged. The device must be grounded.
- Before using the power cord, inspect it. Do not use it if the cord is damaged. To unplug, always grab the plug, not the cord.
- Plug the three-prong plug on the power cord into an electrically grounded outlet that matches. Avoid using an adaptor. Never remove the third prong. Use a power strip instead of an extension cord.
- Do not try to fix the device. For service, contact your local authorized distributor.

IDENTIFYING WATER TYPES
Start by turning off the main water valve and locate and repair the water leak.
- Determine what type of water loss it is: clear, gray, or black. If it is severe water damage, or gray or black (contaminated) water, do not try to clean it yourself. Call a professional immediately.
GOLDEN WINDOW
to prevent mold growth
Use the equipment within 24 hours of the water damage occurring, before mold
sets in.
IMPORTANT STEPS
- Remove all standing water as quickly as possible via mopping, sump pump, wet vacuum, water extractor, etc.
- Remove materials such as bedding, furniture, and other items on the floor as soon as possible.
- Shut all doors and windows before you begin drying your facility. This will help accelerate the drying process.
HUMIDITY LEVEL
for an XTREMEDRY® Environment
The LGR dehumidifier can reduce the relative humidity level down to 25% to
pull moisture out of tough-to-dry areas. UNINTERRUPTED
drying process
Run XTREMEDRY® for at least 24 uninterrupted hours for best results.
- Water damage is a disaster that can strike at any given moment. It can be from natural causes, or it can be brought on by leaking or burst pipes or some other unpredictable reason. Here is where XTREMEDRY® plays a big role by removing excess moisture to help prevent long-term structural damage and mitigate health risks.
PRINCIPLES OF DRYING
The XTREMEDRY® system provides you with the same XPOWER products trusted by
professionals, including an LGR dehumidifier, four air movers, and a HEPA air
scrubber. The cart makes storage and transportation fast and easy, and
conveniently provides instructions on how to set everything up.

HOW TO SET UP
DEHUMIDIFICATION
LGR Dehumidifier
Place the dehumidifier near the center of the room with the exhaust air
blowing in the same direction as the closest air movers.
EVAPORATION
Low Profile Air Movers
The air movers should be spaced out in a circular pattern 6-12 inches away
from the wall at a 45° angle to create a vortex-like airflow.
PURIFICATION
HEPA Air Scrubber
The air scrubber should be placed near a wall with the air exhaust air blowing
in the same direction as the air movers.
- Continuous inspection and monitoring helps to ensure that all corners and cavities in and around the walls are adequately drying. To keep track of the process, always employ monitoring devices. Allow the XTREMEDRY® tools to operate until all moisture has been eliminated.
DEHUMIDIFICATION: LGR DEHUMIDIFIER
XPOWER LGR dehumidifiers are engineered to remove as much water vapor as
possible from the air, reducing relative humidity levels to as low as 25% in
an enclosed indoor environment. Low enough relative humidity (RH) combined
with circular air movement allows the extraction of deep, absorbed moisture,
which is pulled out of materials and migrates to the surface, where it can
evaporate and be pulled into the LGR dehumidifier. This works on wet materials
such as carpet, carpet padding, floors, walls, and building materials,
speeding up the drying process and helping to prevent damage and mold growth.
Additionally, the high efficiency drying performance of the LGR dehumidifier
will minimize secondary damage caused by high humidity.
HOW TO USE
-
Step 1
Place the dehumidifier in the center of the room with the exhaust air facing the same direction as the air movers. -
Step 2
Attach the clear drain hose to unit and place the opposite end of the hose to a drain (examples: bathtub or sink). -
Step 3
Plug it into the power outlet. -
Step 4
Turn on the dehumidifier by pressing the red power button. -
Step 5
Tap the humidity control button to adjust the humidity level. You have a range from 30% to 90%. Adjust the humidity level down to 30% and then press “-” and you will see “CO” on the control panel. -
Step 6
When the machine is dehumidifying, the dehumidification light goes on. If the light is flashing, the dehumidification is temporarily paused, or the humidity has reached the setting level. Please wait until the machine completes the startup or the humidity level rises again.
IMPORTANT
-
In the temperature is below 68° F, please close secondary intake located at the top.
-
Pull out the cover flip to the opposite position and reinstall. Installation instructions should be on top of the cover.
-
When the unit is turned off, the auto purge function will run automatically for 75 seconds.
-
Please wait until this process completes.

MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
- Clean and wash the filters.
- Use a damp cloth to wipe the surface of the housing.
- Do not clean the unit with water directly.
EVAPORATION:
AIR MOVERS
XPOWER air movers are multi-purpose machines that can be utilized for a range
of tasks. The primary purpose of these air movers is to dry damp surfaces of
floors, walls, furniture, and other items, lifting the water vapor into the
air to be removed by the LGR dehumidifier. This speeds up the drying process
and helps to minimize damage.
HOW TO USE
-
Step 1
Position the air movers spaced out in a circular pattern to allow a vortex- like airflow. -
Step 2
Air movers should be 6-12 inches away from the wall, angled 15° to 45° towards the wall. -
Step 3
Remove any obstructions such as furniture or equipment preventing airflow across the affected area. -
Step 4
Turn on units and select a speed to begin drying process.

DAISY CHAINABLE
The XPOWER air movers are daisy chainable with a low amp draw. Three
additional identical units can be run on one circuit at the same time thanks
to the 12-amp on-board circuit breaker. GFCI outlets are installed for
enhanced security.
MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
- Always disconnect an air mover from the power source before cleaning.
- Never use excessive water to clean an air mover.
- Wipe the surface of the air movers with a moist cloth to keep them clean
- Unplug and store air movers in a dry indoor location out of reach of children when not in use.
PURIFICATION:
HEPA AIR SCRUBBERS
During the drying process, potentially harmful particulate, mold spores, and
bacteria can become airborne. A HEPA air scrubber is a commercial portable air
filtration system that constantly removes these from the air, improving indoor
air quality and creating a safer, healthier, and more pleasant environment for
your guests and staff.
HOW TO USE
-
Step 1
The air scrubber should be placed near a wall, with the air output facing the same direction as the air movers. -
Step 2
Connect the unit to a nearby outlet. -
Step 3
To begin the purifying process, set the desired speed. -
Step 4
The commercial grade HEPA air scrubber will draw airborne contaminants from the surrounding area and pass it through several filters, removing up to 99.97% of 0.3 micron-sized particles, improving health, safety, and comfort.
