Parts Description
- Reset: Press and hold the Reset button for 5 seconds or until the indicator light turns yellow.
- Indicator light: solid (yellow) – camera on; flashing (yellow) – ready to connect to WiFi network; flashing (blue) – connecting to WiFi network; solid (blue) – connected to WiFi network.
It is recommended that you insert an 8-32GB Micro SD card. Otherwise, important functions such as saving videos and viewing saved videos cannot be performed.
Basic Instructions
a) Turning the camera on
Plug the camera into a power outlet using the power cable and adapter. The
indicator light will turn on when the camera receives power.
b) Pairing with YI Home app
- Download the YI Home app from Googe Play Store or App Store, or scan the QR code below and follow onscreen instructions to install
- If you have a YI account, log in directly and add a device based on the prompts in the interface. Otherwise, please sign up for a YI account first.

c) Adding a device to your YI account
Note: You must connect the camera to a 2.4GHz band network to
successfully pair. 5GHz band networks are not supported.
- Log in to the YI Home app and navigate to the device selection interface to add a camera.
- Select YI Home Camera 3.
- Tap the ‘I heard Waiting to connect’ icon on the app when the voice prompt indicates that the camera is ready to connect.
- Use the YI camera to scan the QR code displayed on your phone.
- Once the QR code has successfully scanned, tap ‘Next’. The voice prompt will indicate that the camera is connected.
Caution

Do not place the camera near a microwave oven.

Do not place the camera in an environment with tangled wires, such as audio cables, video cables, and USB cables, and keep as far away as possible from cables.

Make sure that you are in a place that is as close as possible to the WiFi signal coverage.
Switching network environment -
If you want to connect the camera to a different WiFi network, hold the reset button for 5 seconds or until the indicator light turns yellow to reset the camera. Follow the pairing process again to connect to the new network.

Magnetic base: attach the camera base to a metal surface to mount

installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or

- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
Under Industry Canada regulations, this radio transmitter may only operate
using an antenna of a type and maximum (or lesser) gain approved for the
transmitter by Industry Canada. To reduce potential radio interference to
other users, the antenna type and its gain should be so chosen that the
equivalent isotropically radiated power (e.i.r.p.) is not more than that
necessary for successful communication.
MPE Requirements
To satisfy FCC / IC RF exposure requirements, a separation distance of 20 cm
or more should be maintained between the antenna of this device and persons
during device operation.To ensure compliance, operations at doser than this
distance is not recommended.
