SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • Read these instructions carefully before use, and save them for future reference.

  • The product is only intended for household use.

  • Read all the instructions carefully before use.

  • Leave at least 10 cm of free space on all sides of the product and 30 cm above to ensure the adequate circulation of air.

  • Do not touch hot surfaces. Use the handles and knobs.

  • Do not immerse the product, the power cord or plug, in water or any other liquid -risk of electric shock.

  • Keep the product under careful supervision when it is used by, or near children.

  • The product is not intended to be used by persons (children or adults) with any form of functional disorder unless they are supervised or have received instructions concerning the use of the product by someone who is responsible for their safety.

  • Keep small children under supervision to make sure they do not play with the product.

  • Pull out the plug before cleaning and when the product is not in use. Allow the product to cool before cleaning or replacing parts.

  • Do not use the product if it is damaged or not working properly, or if the power cord or plug is damaged. Take the product to an authorized service center to be checked, repaired, or adjusted.

  • Do not use accessories other than those recommended or sold by the manufacturer. The use of other accessories can result in fire, electric shock, and/or personal injury.

  • Do not use the product outdoors.

  • Do not allow the power cord to hang over the edge of a table or worktop.

  • Do not put the product on or near a hot stove or in a hot oven.

  • Handle the product with care when there is hot food in it.

  • Unplug the power cord to disconnect the power supply to the product.

  • Never use the product for anything other than the purpose it was designed for.

  • If the power cord or plug are damaged they must be replaced by an authorized service center to ensure safe use.

  • The product is not intended to be controlled by an external timer or a separate remote control.

  • The product is only intended for household use.

  • The product does not contain any parts that can be repaired by the user. Repairs must only be carried out by an authorized service center.

  • The product has a short power cord to prevent it fastening, or someone tripping over it. Do not use an extension cord unless absolutely necessary. The wire cross-sectional area of the extension cord must be dimensioned for the power supply to the product. An extension cord should be placed so that it does not hang over the edge of a table or worktop, and so that there is no risk of tripping over it.

  • This product can be used by children from 8 years and upwards and by persons with physical, sensorial or mental disabilities, or persons who
    lack experience or knowledge, if they are supervised or receive instructions concerning the safe use of the product and understand the risks involved.Keep children under supervision to make sure they do not play with the product. Do not allow children under 8 to use, clean or maintain
    the product without supervision. Store the product and its power cord out of the reach of children less than 8 years old.

  • Never put any flammable materials like cardboard, plastic, paper, candles etc. on the product.

  • The product is intended for household use, or for use in staff rooms, hotel rooms or other similar places.

  • Recycle the product at the end of its useful life in accordance with local regulations.

WARNING!

  • Do not put the product too close to a wall – fire risk/or risk of discoloring. Do not put the product near curtains, or other flammable materials – fire risk Put the product on a heat-resistant surface.
  • Always use the handle when handling the long pan, otherwise, there is a risk of burn injury.
  • Do not pull the power cord to pull out the plug.
  • Do not touch the power cord, plug, or product with wet hands. Pull out the plug when you have finished. Never leave the product unattended when plugged in.
  • Do not place the product near an oven or other source of heat, or expose it to a draught when in use, this can prevent the temperature from being properly adjusted.
  • Never put objects on the oven when it is hot, this can damage the casing.
  • Never attempt to heat-sealed bottles or cans, they can burst and cause serious personal injury.
  • Parts of the product get hot when in use – the risk of burn injury.
  • Do not expose the glass door to water when it is hot, this can cause the glass to crack.
  • Do not immerse the product in water or any other liquid.
  • Plug the plug into a suitable PowerPoint, which has been properly installed and earthed in accordance with local regulations. Connect the product to a separate power circuit.
  • When cooking food that produces fat put aluminium foil in the long pan and over the food to protect the product from splashing.

Accessory

Part Function
  • Long pan (11) Chicken, steak, … au gratin, sponge cakes, and other dishes cooked in an oven.

INSTALLATION

Leave at least 70 cm of free space on all sides of the tabletop oven and 30 cm above to ensure the adequate circulation of air.

USE

SETTING

Temperature control
Set the required temperature from 700 to 230°C with the temperature control. FIG. 2

  1. Off
  2. Top and bottom heating FIG. 3

Timer dial

  1. Turn the timer dial to a suitable number of minutes for the food to be cooked.

  2. Turn the timer dial clockwise. The oven will switch off automatically after the set time and give an audio prompt.

To set a time shorter than 5 minutes, turn the dial to more than 6 minutes and then turn back to the required time.

  1. The oven can be switched off manually at any time by turning the timer dial anticlockwise to the o position.FIG. 4

HOW TO USE

Plate holder
Put the grille/long pan at a suitable level for the food to be cooked. Put food at the top for most top heat, and at the bottom for most bottom heat.

Before using for the first time
Heat up the empty oven.

  1. Put in the long pan and grille.
  2. Set the control dial to top and bottom heating, set the temperature control to 230°C, and wait about 10 minutes.

NOTE: The first time the oven is used it may smoke and smell a little. This is completely normal and soon stops.

Temperature control

Set the required temperature with the temperature control.

  1. Select top and bottom heating. The status light on the front goes on when the oven is on.
  2. Turn the timer dial to a suitable number of minutes for the food to be cooked.
  3. Turn the timer dial clockwise.
  4. The oven will switch off automatically after the set time and give an audio prompt.
  5. To set a time shorter than 5 minutes, turn the dial to more than 6 minutes and then turn back to the required time.

MAINTENANCE

CLEANING
  • Pull out the plug and allow the oven to cool before cleaning.
  • Clean the outside and inside of the product with a cloth or sponge, moistened with a mild detergent.
  • Wash all accessories with water and a mild detergent.

NOTE: Do not use solvent, strong or abrasive detergents, or hard or abrasive utensils that can damage the surface.
