Legal compliance statement
By means of this document, PROZIS declares that the BiT – Pocket Smart Scale
is fully compliant with all the standards specified in the applicable
legislation as well as other relevant clauses.
Prozis will always be available for any additional explanation through our
customer support communication channels, available at www.prozis.com/support
To avoid any impact on the environment or human health due to dangerous
substances present in electrical and electronic devices, the end-users of such
devices are expected to understand the meaning of the symbol consisting of a
crossed-out waste container. Do not dispose of electrical and electronic
equipment along with the unsorted household waste. Dispose of it separately
and properly instead.
The packaging that protects the device
against transport damage is made from non-polluting materials that can be
disposed of via local recycle bins.
Safety warnings
DANGER! This symbol, when combined with the note Danger, means high risk.
Failure to observe this warning may lead to injury to life and limb.
DANGER FOR CHILDREN AND PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES
- Packing materials are not toys. Children must not play with the packaging materials. There is a suffocation risk.
- This product may be used by children 8 years and up as well as persons with physical, sensory or mental impairments or lacking experience and knowledge, when supervised or instructed in the safe use of the product and understanding the associated risks.
- Children must not play with the device.
- Cleaning and maintenance must not be performed by children without supervision.
- Keep the device out of the reach of children.
CAUTION!

Do not place more than 2 kg on the scale. This may damage the product. Do not expose the product to:
– extreme temperatures
– strong vibrations
– heavy mechanical loads
– direct sunlight
– magnetic fields
– moisture -
Protect the product from electrostatic charge/discharge. This may hinder the internal data exchange, which will cause errors in the readout.

Check the product for damage before use. Never use a damaged product.
WARNING! Never open the housing of the product. This may result in injury
and damage to the product. Repairs must be carried out by an electrician only.
Do not allow anyone inexperienced to use the product. Make sure that anyone
intending to
use the product has read the user manual and is capable of operating the
product safely. Place the product on a solid, horizontal, and flat surface.
Never weigh food directly on the scale.
CAUTION!
Safety Instructions for Batteries.
- The device comes with a lithium-ion battery.
- The battery cannot be removed.
- This device must not be opened.
- Completely dispose of the device.
- When using a USB power unit, the wall socket must always be easily accessible, so it can be disconnected quickly from the wall socket (in case of imminent peril). Pay attention to the user instructions of the USB power unit.
- Do not use the device if there is visible damage to the housing or the USB charging cable.
- This device must not be thrown into a fire.
- Do not leave the device uncharged for long periods of time.
- Fully charge the device at least once a year.
DANGER OF EXPLOSION!
- The device must not be covered while the battery is charging.
- The device must only be charged in a dry environment.
- Foreign objects must not be inserted into any of the components of the scale.
- Do not expose the device to direct sunlight or heat.
- It should not be operated in temperatures lower than 10°C or higher than 40°C. Be aware that the temperature may exceed 40°C if inside a car.

Maintenance and cleaning
- Switch the product off and remove all plugs before cleaning!
- Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents or materials such as scouring milk or steel wool to clean the components. They can damage the upper surface of the appliance!
- Protect the device from water drops and water spray. Use only a clean, dry cloth for cleaning the appliance and never use any corrosive liquids. Use a slightly damp cloth and a mild cleaning agent to remove any stubborn dirt.
- Make sure moisture does not enter the product while cleaning to prevent damage to the product and related repairs.
Storage
- When no longer using the device, store the product in a dry environment, protected from dust and direct sunlight.
- If the appliance is not going to be used for a long period of time, you should fully charge it at least once a year. This helps maintain battery performance.
- Store your appliance inside the original case provided.
INSTRUCTIONS
Operating instructions
Short press the button to switch on the scale. The LED light will flash blue.
The identification of the device is “PROZIS Bit Scale”. Once the connection
has been established, the LED light will remain blue.
Open the Prozis Go app on your smartphone and follow the instructions for pairing your new device.

Download the Prozis Go app from the Apple App Store® or Google Play Store®.
Switching Off.
It can be done via the app. After disconnecting the app (the blue LED will
blink), it switches off automatically after 30 seconds.
Alternatively, with a long press (~2s) the scale will disconnect from the app,
leaving the blue LED blinking. It switches off automatically after 30 seconds.
In either of the two previous situations, if the blue LED is blinking, a short
press will immediately switch it off.
Charging the battery
- Connect the USB charging cable to the USB-C port of the device.
- Connect the USB A plug of the USB charging cable with a USB power unit (not included in the items supplied). The LED will turn red.
- Once charging is complete and if the USB charging cable is still plugged in, the LED will turn green. Once the cable is unplugged, the blue LED will blink and start connecting to the smartphone via BT.
NOTE: It’s not possible to operate the BiT scale while charging. If you start charging while in operation, it will disconnect and switch off automatically (starting the charging process as described above).
How to use the product
- Place the scale on a hard and flat surface.
- Open the Prozis GO App on your phone and tap the scale menu. The LED will remain blue once the connection has been established.
- Press TARE to clear the weight and place a container on the top of the scale. The App will display the weight of the container.
- Press TARE to clear the weight of the container (reset to zero). The light will blink in green, and then turn blue once the task has been completed.
- Place the food inside the container, and the App will display the weight of your food.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Some issues that arise may be solved by the user. If the problem persists after having tried the following solutions, please contact Prozis customer service.

Check if other devices using BT standard 4.0 or higher work with the BT
device.
BT connection error.| Move the devices connected via BT closer. Make sure the
Scale is not already connected to another device. Place the device to be
connected within 10 m / 33 ft of the scale. Switch off other BT devices to
decrease the interference.
Warranty statement
All electrical and electronic products commercialized by Prozis via
www.prozis.com are covered by the warranty applicable
to the purchase and sale of consumer goods.
GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS
This document contains the terms and conditions of Prozis’ warranty for final
consumers.
This warranty is valid exclusively for consumers who purchase the product for
non-professional-nal purposes.
WARRANTY PERIOD
Prozis guarantees the product is to remain free from material and production
defects for a 2-year period, counting from the date of initial purchase by a
consumer and respective delivery, or for longer if legally established by the
applicable national law.
In the event that repair is required, this 2-year period is suspended during
repair time.
CONSUMABLES
The gradual performance decrease caused by prolonged use of the product’s consumable components, such as batteries, is not covered by this warranty unless the malfunction is caused by faulty design, materials or production.
HOW TO MAKE A CLAIM
If the need arises to exercise the rights conceded to you through this
warranty, please contact Prozis customer service via the communication
channels provided on the Prozis website, and follow the provided instructions
or recommendations. Contact and technical assistance information is also
provided at the end of this warranty.
Any claims made regarding this warranty will only be valid if proof of
purchase is presented by the original customer. This proof of purchase may be
the original invoice or receipt, as long as it includes information regarding
the date of purchase and the product’s model name.
WARRANTY REPAIRS
Any repairs made under this warranty cannot be made by third parties. This warranty does not apply to any repairs, or damage caused directly by such repairs, that have impacted or caused the damage that is the subject of the respective warranty claim.
EXCLUSIONS
The following situations are not covered by this warranty:
- Any wear and tear of parts and components resulting from normal product use.
- Cracks, dents, scratches, and other types of surface damage only affect the product’s appearance.
- Any malfunction caused by inappropriate use of the product that does not comply with user manual instructions.
- Use and storage of the product not complying with user manual instructions.
- Opening of the product by a third party who is not authorized to proceed to its repair.
- Altering or changing parts or components, whether internal or external.
- Damage caused by battery leakage resulting from the breaking of any of its components, or from product misuse.
- Malfunction or damage due to reasons that cannot be ascribed to the production or design of the product.
- Use of the product in the context of a business, occupation or commerce.
- Malfunction due to use that does not comply with the technical or security norms in force, or with user manual instructions.
The services provided by Prozis in order to repair or fix any fault or
malfunction resulting from the verification of any of the aforementioned
excluded situations will be subject to payment of labor, transport, and
component costs.
The customer shall bear all risks of loss and damage to the product during
transportation to Prozis. This warranty will be void if the returned product
arrives with labels or stickers that have been removed, damaged, tampered with
or modified in any way.
LIMITED RESPONSIBILITY
Prozis cannot be held responsible for indirect damage or loss due to usage of the product.

To request warranty service, you must first contact Prozis customer service
via the communication channels provided on the Prozis website, and follow the
provided instructions and recommendations.
Send back the product inside its original packaging, including all accessories
