Wi-Fi + Bluetooth
Warnings:
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or personal injury, always follow
the instructions strictly.
- The Smart Power Power is only for indoor use.
- Do not connect any devices which may exceed the maximum ratings of this power adapter.
- Children are not allowed to use the power strip without adult supervision
- Do not disassemble or repair the product, and only allow authorized service personnel to do so.
- To prevent suffocation and chocking, keep children away from packaging materials.
- Discard all parts of this product in accordance with local environmental regulations, do not dispose in regular household waste.

Software Installation Guide
Download the “smart life ”App: Scan QR Code or search “Smart Life” in Google Play or the App Store to download and install the app.
Register an account
If you don’t have an app account ,register an account as following steps:

Open the app and tap “Register” to enter the registration page.

The system automatically recognizes your country/area. You can also select your country code.
Enter the mobile number or E-mail and tap “ Get Verification Code.” -
If you enter the E-mail, then enter the verification code in the mailbox, as shown in the picture, and enter the password, tap “Done” to finish your registration.
Note: Each device can only be connected to one account. If anyone else needs to control it, please share your device via the app.
Add device
- Plug the smart power strip into an outlet.
- Launch the “Smart Life” app and connect the smart power strip to your network.
Note: The smart power strip only support 2.4GHz network.
- Short press the power button on the smart power strip, the blue LED power indicator will ON/OFF correspondingly.
- Long press the power button on the smart power strip for 510s, the smart power strip is ready to enter the network configuration mode.

For Optimal Use:
- If the indicator on smart power strip doesn’t flashing when you plug into the power socket for first connection, please hold and press the power button which on the bottom of the power strip for about 5-10 seconds to see if it’s start flashing;
- If the smart device can’t be connected to Wi-Fi, please long press the power button for 5-10 seconds to reset the smart power strip;
- The smart device only work with 2.4 GHz network. If your router broadcasts both 2.4GHz and 5GHz, please selected the 2.4GHz network with the app If connection still failed, we recommend you call your ISP and had them completely shut off the 5GHz network on the router. You are free to change the network to 5GHz again after connecting.
- Please try to make the smart power strip and router as close as possible when first connection, you can change the place after connecting successfully.
- For fast network configuration, It is better turn on the “Bluetooth” when the smart device will be connected to network.
Add the Smart Power Strip
- Click the”+”sign at the right corner and then choose the “Power Strip (BLE + Wi-Fi))”.
- Select 2.4GHz Wi-Fi Network and enter password.
- The smart power strip added successfully and is ready for use, Then tap 【Next】
Timer Function
Select the “Countdown”, “Schedule”, “Circulate” and “Random” to meet your
needs
- Countdown: Device is turned on or off after countdown time.
- Schedule: Device is turned on or off on any individual day or blocks of days.
- Circulate: Device is turned on(start duration) and off(end duration) repeatedly from start time to end time.
- Random: If the time interval between start time and end time is more than or equal to 1 hour, start time is delayed 2-30 minutes and end time is advanced 2-30 minutes. If the time interval is less than 1 hour, start time is delayed 2-x minutes and end time is advanced 2-x minutes.(x=time interval/2-2).
For example: you set start time at 8:00 and end time at 8:30.
The device is turned on at random time between 8:02 and 8:13.
The device is turned off at random time between 8:17 and 8:28.
Setting
Relay status (ON/OFF status for the device): Select “OFF” mode for the relay
status, the device will remain OFF mode after a power outage, even when the
power comes on again.
For the device, the Relay status (ON/OFF status for the device) is off by
default
Work with Amazon Alexa
Link Smart Life account to Alexa
- Open your Alexa app, tap “ Skills” in the menu, and then search “ Smart Life” Select “Smart Life” and tap “ Enable” to enable the Smart Life skills.
- You will be directed to the account link page. Type in your “Smart Life” account and password, don’t forget to select your country/region where your account belongs to. And then tap “Link Now ” to link your Smart Life account.
Control your smart devices
Discover devices: Echo needs to discover your smart devices before it controls
them. You say “Alexa ,discover devices” to Echo. Echo will discover devices
which have already been added in “Smart Life” app. You can also tap “discover
devices” to discover the smart devices.
Discovered devices will be shown in the list.
Note: Every time you change the device’s name on the Smart Life app, Echo must
re-discover before you control them.
Work with Google Home
Add Device to Home Control
Open your Google Home app, add device in Home Control of the Google Home app.
Select “ Smart Life”, and fill in the correct login information of your
account to finish the account linking.
Your device will be shown in Home Control device list.

Troubleshooting and FAQ
– What should I do when can not turn the smart power strip on or off?
– Make sure your mobile devices and the smart power strip are connected to the
same Wi-Fi network.
– Make sure the devices connected to the smart power strip are turned on.
– What should I do when device configuration process has failed?
You could:****
– Check whether the smart device is powered on or not.
– Check whether your mobile device is connected to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
– Check for Wi-Fi interference or relocate the smart device to another
location.
– Check your network connectivity. Make sure the router is working properly.
– If the router is dual-band router, select 2.4G network and then add the
smart device.
– Enable the router’s broadcasting function. Configure the encryption method
as WPA2-PSK and authorization type as AES, or set both as auto.
– Wireless mode cannot be 11n only.
– Check for Wi-Fi interference or relocate the smart device to another
location within the signal range.
– Check whether the router’s connected devices reach the amount limit. Please
try to turn off some device’s – Wi-Fi function and configure smart device
again.
– Check if router’s wireless MAC filtering function is enabled.
– Remove the device from filter list and make sure the router is not
prohibiting smart device from connection.
– Make sure the password of your Wi-Fi network entered in App is correct when
adding smart device.
– Make sure the smart device is in ready for App – Config: the indicator light
is quick blinking blue (twice per second) for quick mode configuration, slow
blinking blue (once every 2 seconds) for AP mode configuration.
– Repeat the App-Config process.
– Factory reset the smart device and try to add it again.
How can operate if only by Bluetooth for the WiFi and Bluetooth dual mode modules?****
– The steps of only Bluetooth control are as follows:
– Make sure that the Bluetooth has been turned on, and the Bluetooth network
distribution mode is used when the smart power strip device is connected to
the network;
– Power off the router used in the distribution network (turn off the mobile
hotspot if the mobile hotspot distribution network is used) and turn off the
mobile Wi-Fi, only keep on the mobile 4G and Bluetooth , and then wait about
3 to 5 minutes;
– After 3-5 minutes, the smart device will be automatically switched to the
Bluetooth control mode because it is disconnected from the external network.
– So the Bluetooth control function is only as one replacement control way at
present. But you will have to make sure the Bluetooth is turned on when the
smart device is connected to the network and the wifi router is powered off
or the wifi router is broken without any signal emission.
