SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • Always follow these basic safety instructions when using electrical appliances.
  • The vacuum cleaner is intended for vacuuming dry material and cold water.
  • Do not immerse the vacuum cleaner or the charger in water or any other liquid when cleaning.
  • Do not use the vacuum cleaner on or near a hot stove or in a hot oven.
  • Do not block the ventilation openings on the vacuum cleaner.
  • Do not use the vacuum cleaner for vacuuming flammable liquids or use it in the vicinity of such liquids.
  • Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type plate.
  • Do not use the vacuum cleaner if the charger, power cord, or plug are damaged.
  • Only charge with the supplied charger. Never use the charger to charge other appliances.
  • Disconnect the power supply to the charger before cleaning.
  • Do not use the vacuum cleaner if it is damaged or not working properly, or if the power cord or plug is damaged. Take the vacuum cleaner to an authorized service centre to be checked, repaired or adjusted. Never use the battery for anything other than its intended purpose.
  • Dispose of batteries in accordance with local regulations. Do not burn batteries — the risk of explosion.
  • This vacuum cleaner can be used by children from eight years and upwards and by persons with physical, sensorial, or mental disabilities, or persons who lack experience or knowledge if they are supervised or receive instructions concerning the safe use of the vacuum cleaner and understand the risks involved with its use.
  • Do not allow children to play with the vacuum cleaner.
  • Do not use accessories other than those recommended by the manufacturer — risk of personal injury.
  • Never use the vacuum cleaner for anything other than its intended purpose.
  • Do not use the vacuum cleaner outdoors.

ASSEMBLY

Installing the charging station

  1. Mark up on the wall where the charging station is to be placed.
  2. Drill holes for the retaining screws. Check that there are no concealed cables or pipes in the wall.
  3. Installing the charging station on the wall The charging station should be turned upright so that the vacuum cleaner can be hung on it with the dust container down.
  4. Do not put the charging station near water, e.g. bathtubs or wash basins, etc., or near sources of heat.
  5. Place the charging station so that neither the station nor the appliance is accessible for children or persons with functional disorders.
  6. Connect the charging station’s transformer to a PowerPoint.

USE

Before using it for the first time

  1. Take the vacuum deaner out of the packaging and remove all the packaging material.
  2. Check that the dust filter is properly fitted.
  3. Check that the power switch is switched off.
  4. Put the vacuum cleaner on the charging station. The status light goes on when the vacuum cleaner is correctly positioned. Always put the vacuum cleaner in the charging station when not in use.

Charge the battery for at least 14 hours before using it for the first time.
Dry vacuum cleaning

  1. Lift the vacuum cleaner off the charging station.
  2. Fit the extension piece by pressing it on the suction nozzle. The brush nozzle does not fit directly on the vacuum cleaner and has to be fitted on the extension piece. The vacuum cleaner can be used without the extension piece.
  3. Start the vacuum cleaner with the power switch. After S minutes of continuous use the suction power diminishes.
  4. Keep the suction nodule pointing downwards when in use.
  5. Switch off the vacuum cleaner with the power switch.

Wet vacuum cleaning
WARNING!
Do not use the vacuum cleaner for vacuuming any other liquid than cold water. When vacuuming water makes sure that the liquid level in the container does not exceed the MAX marking when the vacuum cleaner is upright with the nozzle down. When vacuuming water the vacuum cleaner must always be upright with the nozzle down. Do not put the vacuum cleaner in any other position. Make sure that water cannot get into the motor.

  1. Lift the vacuum cleaner off the charging station.
  2. Fit the water nozzle by pressing it on the suction nozzle.
  3. Start the vacuum cleaner with the power switch. After 5 minutes of continuous use the suction power diminishes.
  4. Keep the suction nozzle pointing downwards when in use.
  5. Switch off the vacuum cleaner with the power switch.

Note
Empty the container and clean the filter immediately after use. Rinse the container and filter with cold water. Allow all parts to dry before refitting.
Charging the battery

  1. Put the vacuum cleaner in the charging station. The status light goes on when the vacuum cleaner is correctly positioned. Always put the vacuum cleaner in the charging station when not in use.
  2. If the battery is completely flat it must be charged for at least 14 hours.
  3. Do not leave the battery discharged for long periods, this can damage the battery.

MAINTENANCE

Emptying the dust container

  1. Press the release button and remove the dust container from the motor unit.
  2. Take out the dust filter from the container and empty the container.
  3. The dust container and filter can be washed with cold water. Make sure the parts are completely dry before replacing them in the vacuum cleaner.
  4. Replace the dust filter in the dust container. 5.

Replace the dust container on the motor unit.
Cleaning the dust filter

  1. Press the release button and remove the dust container from the motor unit.
  2. Take out the dust filter from the container
  3. Clean the filter.
  4. The dust container and filter can be washed with cold water. Make sure the parts are completely dry before replacing them in the vacuum cleaner.
  5. Replace the dust filter in the dust container.
  6. Replace the dust container on the motor unit.

Cleaning the vacuum cleaner

  • Before cleaning, remove the vacuum cleaner from the charging station and allow it to cool.
  • Clean the vacuum cleaner with a dry cloth. Do not use abrasive detergents.
  • Do not clean the motor unit with water or damp cloth — the risk of electric shock.
  • Never wash the vacuum cleaner or any of its parts in a dishwasher.
  • Store the vacuum cleaner in a clean and dry place.
