OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Important! Read the user instructions carefully before use. Save them for future reference. (Translation of the original instructions).

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • The thermal cushion must only be used in accordance with these instructions. Any other use could result in fire, electric shock or personal injury.
  • Failure to follow all the instructions and safety instructions can result in personal injury.
  • The thermal cushion contains an electric heating element that must be used with care to ensure its continued functionality and to prevent personal injury.
  • Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the thermal cushion.
  • Unpack the thermal cushion and check that it is not damaged before use. Remove all packaging material. Make sure that children do not play with plastic bags.
  • Check the power cord, switch, and connector before use, to make sure they are not damaged.
  • Never use another remote control than the one supplied. Do not use the thermal cushion without the remote control.
  • This is not a toy. Keep children under supervision to make sure they do not play with the thermal cushion.
  • Do not use the thermal cushion for children less than 3 years old, or for persons who are sleeping or insensitive to heat.
  • Do not use the thermal cushion if you are under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication. Do not use the thermal cushion for pets.
  • The thermal cushion is only intended for household use and must not be used in hospitals, etc.
  • Prolonged use at full capacity can result in burn injuries.
  • Consult your doctor before using the thermal cushion if you are pregnant, or have a heart complaint.
  • Stop using the thermal cushion immediately if you experience pain or discomfort.
  • Do not leave the thermal cushion unattended when switched on.
  • This thermal cushion can be used by children from 8 years and upwards and by persons with physical, sensorial, or mental disabilities, or persons who lack experience or knowledge if they are supervised or receive instructions concerning the safe use of the thermal cushion and understand the risks involved with its use. Do not allow children to play with the thermal cushion. Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children unless they are more than eight years old, and are kept under supervision.
  • Keep the thermal cushion and its power cord out of the reach of children under eight years of age.
  • Never put the remote control on the thermal cushion, or cover it when in use — the risk of overheating.
  • Pull out the plug when the thermal cushion is not in use, or to clean it.
  • Unplug the thermal cushion and allow it to cool before cleaning, folding, or putting it away.
  • Switch off the thermal cushion by putting the power switch in position 0 and unplugging it from the PowerPoint. Do not pull the power cord to unplug the plug.
  • Do not switch off the thermal cushion by pulling out the plug.
  • Do not move or carry the thermal cushion by pulling/ lifting the power cord.
  • Do not use the thermal cushion if the power cord or plug is damaged. A damaged power cord must be replaced by an authorized service center, or another qualified person, to ensure safe use.
  • Do not place heavy objects on the power cord, and do not fold it. The power cord must be fully unreeled when in use.
  • Do not use the thermal cushion when folded, or wrinkled.
  • Do not leave the thermal cushion with heat setting 6 for a prolonged period. When using the thermal cushion for a long time, select the lowest temperature.
  • Do not poke metal or sharp objects in the thermal cushion, and do not use safety pins.
  • Do not use the thermal cushion unless it is completely dry. Do not touch the thermal cushion if it is damp or wet — pull out the plug immediately.
  • Wait until the thermal cushion is completely dry before using it again.
  • Do not expose the thermal cushion to severe temperature fluctuations (sun, rain, etc.) Do not use in moist conditions (e.g. tropical countries). Never immerse the thermal cushion or remote control in the water.
  • Never put the remote control on the thermal cushion, or cover it when in use — the risk of overheating.
  • Do not use an extension cord — the risk of overheating or fire. Do not use the same extension cord for several appliances.
  • Do not touch the thermal cushion or plug with wet hands.
  • Do not use the thermal cushion in dusty areas or near flammable vapors (e.g. in workshop or garage).
  • Do not put the thermal cushion on top of or near sources of heat.
  • The thermal cushion contains parts that can produce sparks or arcs. Do not leave the thermal cushion in areas where there is a risk of explosion, or where there is a high content of chemical substances or moisture.
  • Do not plug the thermal cushion into a PowerPoint where there is a lot of activity and where there is a risk of it being pulled out by mistake.
  • Do not use the thermal cushions in bathrooms, laundries, near showers, pools, or other similar places indoors. Do not put the thermal cushion in places where it could drop down into the water.
  • Do not allow the power cord to come into contact with the hot parts of the thermal cushion when in use.
  • Protect the power cord from hot surfaces.
  • Do not use the thermal cushion outdoors. Do not use the thermal cushion near an open window.
  • Do not use the thermal cushion together with a timer or equivalent that automatically switches on and off — the risk of fire.
  • The thermal cushion does not contain any parts that can be repaired by the user.
  • Switch off and unplug before maintenance and moving. Unplug the plug from the PowerPoint when the thermal cushion is not in use.
  • Switch off the thermal cushion and unplug the plug from the PowerPoint before maintenance and moving.
  • Store in a dry, well-ventilated place if the thermal cushion is not going to be used for some time.
  • Do not switch off the thermal cushion by just unplugging it. Always unplug the plug from the PowerPoint when the thermal cushion is not in use.
  • Never immerse the thermal cushion or remote control in the water. Do not attempt to cool the thermal cushion by using water or gas.
  • Do not use solvents or bleach to clean the thermal cushion. Do not tumble dry. Do not use an iron. Do not use a heater fan to dry it.
  • Do not use the thermal cushion unless it is completely dry.
  • Check the thermal cushion regularly for damage or wear. Do not use the thermal cushion if it is damaged or not working properly. Have it checked at an authorized service center if it is not working or damaged.
  • Never put the thermal cushion away when it is still warm. Always allow it to cool first.

USE

WARNING!
Do not leave the thermal cushion with heat setting 6 for a prolonged period.

BEFORE USE

  1. Completely unfold the thermal cushion, making sure that the fabric is not creased.
  2. Check that there is a PowerPoint near to where the thermal cushion is to be used so that the remote control plug can easily be plugged in and there is no risk of tripping over the cord.
  3. Check that the remote control is switched off and plugged into a powerpoint.
  4. Check that the cord is not twisted.

NOTE:

  • To ensure safe use the thermal cushion should be placed over the area to be treated, without pressure from the body. For best results, the cushion should be covered to prevent the heat from spreading when switched off.
  • The thermal cushion has a safety system that prevents overheating and which keeps the temperature constant by switching it off at regular intervals.

ONLY USE THE SUPPLIED CONTROL UNIT

  1. Connect the control unit to the product by connecting the connector.

  2. Plugin the plug and set it to maximum temperature for a short while to quickly warm up the product. Set the required temperature (mode 1-3).
    Mode 1= 53°C, mode 2 = 59°C, mode 3 = 65°C (± 5°C).

  3. Place the product on the part of the body to be warmed.

AUTOMATIC SWITCHING OFF

  1. The product switches off automatically after 90 minutes.
  2. To start the product again, set the temperature selector to mode 0, wait a few seconds, and then set the required temperature again.

SWITCHING OFF

  1.  Switch off the product by putting the temperature selector in mode 0. 2. Pull out the plug.

MAINTENANCE

  • Make sure the outer fabric is completely dry before putting it on the thermal cushion to use or put away.
  • Clean with a slightly damp cloth.
  • If the thermal cushion is clean and dry it can be put in its pack and stored in a dry place when not in use.
  • Allow the thermal cushion to cool before putting it away.
  • Do not place any objects on top of the thermal cushion during storage.
