SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Failure to follow all the instructions and safety instructions can result in a risk of personal injury and/or material damage.

  • Only for outdoor use.
  • Do not tilt the torch this could cause fuel to run out and result in a risk of serious fire and/or serious personal injury.
  • Never leave a lit torch unattended.
  • Never use petrol, paraffin or any other flammable liquid.
  • Never move a burning torch.
  • Extinguish the torch and allow it to cool for at least 30 minutes before cleaning and/or refilling.
  • Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from the flame — the risk of serious burns. Do NOT place a lit torch in a tent, under a parasol or the like or in the vicinity of combustible materials, such as building elements, wood, cloths, dry grass, or the like. Never use fuel for anything other than its intended purpose.
  • The product gets hot when in use — risk of burn injuries.
  • To be used and kept out of the reach of children.
  • Store the product and the lamp oil out of the reach of children and pets. The lamp should be firmly stuck in the ground (at least 30 cm) before it is lit.

WARNING!

  • For small children, very small quantities of lamp oil — even just sucking on the wick — can cause life-threatening lung damage.
  • If lamp oil is swallowed, do not induce vomiting. If swallowed, contact the Poisons Information Centre and/or seek medical attention and provide the following information.
  • Consumption of fuel can result in serious personal injury and death.
  • Contains petroleum hydrocarbon flammable.

HOW TO USE

  1. Turn the lid on top of the torch to take it off
  2. Till up with lamp oil. The maximum volume that can be filled is 270 ml. Lamp oil is sold separately.
  3. Replace the lid and firmly tighten it.
  4. Put the torch in a suitable place.
  5. The wick should stick out 15-20 mm when lighting.
  6. tight the wick, which extends from the top of the torch into the oil reservoir.
  7. Put out the wick by putting the lid on. Oo not turn up the wick too far. mate sure that most of the wick rests in the oil reservoir. Otherwise, the product can be damaged.
  • Always chest how much of the event Is standing out before use.
  • Only use round glass-fiber wicks with a diameter of 6.5 mm.
  • Wait five minutes for the wick to be saturated with oil before lighting.

MAINTENANCE

  • The torch can be wiped clean with a damp cloth and a suitable detergent for stainless steel.
  • Soot stains can be wiped off the lid with a cloth.
  • The surface of the stainless steel near the flame can become discolored because of the heat and the chemical properties of the steel. This is normal and not a result of poor quality.
  • The fuel reservoir should not be filled to more than 3/4 of the total volume when putting the torch away.
  • Handle the wick with a suitable tool, such as a pair of tweezers or pliers. Do not touch the wick with your hands.
  • Remove any spilled oil from the product.

NOTE:
Put out the torch and allow it to cool for at least 30 minutes before cleaning and putting it away.
