SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read all the instructions carefully before use.

Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type plate.

Do not use the product if it is damaged or not working properly, or if the power cord or plug are damaged. Take the product to an authorised service centre to be checked I repaired or adjusted.

Switch off the product, pull out the plug and wait until all moving parts have completely stopped before leaving the product unattended, and before installation/ dismantling and/or cleaning .

Do not allow the power cord to hang over the edge of a table or worktop, or to come into contact with hot surfaces.
-
Never immerse the power cord, plug or product in water or any other liquid -risk of electric shock.

Keep the product under careful supervision when it is used by, or near children or persons with functional disorders.

Avoid contact with moving parts.
-
Keep your hands and utensils outside of the beaker when the product is in use, otherwise there is a risk of serious personal injury and/or material damage. A rubber scraper or the equivalent can be used, but only when the product is not running.

Never attempt to chop ice in the product, or mix hard, dry substances, this will make the blades blunt.

Never put the blades on the base without first fitting the bowl – risk of personal injury.

Check that the lid is properly fitted before starting the product.

Do not use any accessories other than those recommended by the appliance manufacturer. The use of other accessories can result in fire, electric shock and/or personal injury.

Never use the product for anything other than the purpose it was designed for.

This product can be used by children from 8 years and upwards and by persons with physical, sensorial or mental disabilities, or persons who lack experience or knowledge, if they are supervised or receive instructions concerning the safe use of the product and understand the risks involved with its use. Do not
allow children to play with the product. Do not allow children to clean or maintain the product without supervision. -
Keep children under supervision to make sure they do not play with the product.

Remove the blades before pouring the contents out of the beaker.

Switch off the product and pull out the plug after use. Wait until all moving parts have completely stopped before taking apart.

The blades are very sharp -risk of cut injury.

Do not touch the edges of the blades when handling or cleaning.

Incorrect use can result in the risk of personal injury and/or material damage.

Handle the blades carefully when emptying the bowl and when cleaning.

If hot liquid is poured into the beaker there is a risk of splashing, or steaming, which can result in scalding.

The product is intended for household use, or for use in staff rooms, hotel rooms or other similar places.

Do not allow children to use the product. Store the product and its power cord out of the reach of children.

Do not allow children under 8 to clean or maintain the product. Children over 8 can clean or maintain the product under supervision. Store the product and its power cord out of the reach of children less than 8 years old.

USE
- Before using for the first time, clean the blender in accordance with the instructions for quick cleaning.
- Do not run the blender with no load for more than 15 seconds.
IMPORTANT:
Be careful, the blades are very sharp. Switch off the blender and pull out the plug before fitting/removing accessories.
USING THE HAND BLENDER
- Do not run the blender for more than one minute. Allow it to cool for three minutes before using it again.
- Fit the blending arm on the motor unit by turning it anticlockwise. Release by turning it clockwise.
- Plug in the plug.
- Put the blender in the food and press the button for low speed or the button for high speed to start.
- Switch off the blender by releasing the button.
- Cut the food into small pieces and put them in the beaker. No more than 280 g can be processed at once and no more than 420 ml of water can be added.

NOTE:
Turn the speed dial clockwise for faster speed or anticlockwise for slower speed. The speed can only be controlled with the dial when the button for low speed is pressed.
USING THE CHOPPER ACCESSORY
- Place the large beaker on a clean, level surface.
- Put the blade unit in the large beaker.
- Put the food in the large beaker.
- Press the lid firmly on the large beaker.
- Insert the motor unit through the hole in the lid.
- Put the blender in the food and press the button for low speed or the button for high speed to start.
- Switch off the blender by releasing the button.
- When the processing is finished, pull out the plug and release the motor unit from the lid by turning anticlockwise.
- Open the lid by turning it anticlockwise, and take out the processed food.

NOTE:
- Do not run the blender for more than 30 seconds. Allow it to cool for three minutes before using it again.
- Cut meat into small pieces and remove any bones. Only 200 g can be processed at once.
- The beaker is only intended for processing food and should be cleaned immediately after use. Do not store food in the beaker.
IMPORTANT:
- Never put the blades on the base without first fitting the beaker – risk of personal injury.
- Check that the lid is properly fitted before starting the blender.
- When you have finished, release the motor unit from the lid before taking the lid off the beaker. Never take off the lid without first releasing the motor unit.
USING THE WHISK
- Fit the whisk on the motor unit by turning it anticlockwise. Release by turning it clockwise.
- Plug in the plug.
- Put the whisk in the beaker. Do not whisk more than the whites of two eggs.
- Put the blender in the food and press the button for low speed or the button for high speed to start.
- Switch off the blender by releasing the button.

NOTE:

MAINTENANCE
CLEANING
- Pull out the plug and remove the hand blender.
- Clean the blender under running water. Leave the blending arm to stand, so that all the water runs out. The blender is dishwasher safe.
- Wash the jug, the bowl, whisk and blade unit with hot water and washing-up liquid. The bowl and whisk should not be washed in a dishwasher, this can damage the plastic.
- Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth.
- Wipe thoroughly dry.
WARNING!
- Do not immerse the blender in water, this can ruin the lubrication.
- Never immerse the blender, the power cord or the plug in water or any other liquid – risk of electric shock.
- Do not use detergents or abrasive agents.
- Be careful, the blades are very sharp.
Quick cleaning
The accessories can be quickly cleaned by running them for a few seconds in a bowl with a little water.
