USE

USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
The first time the toaster is used it may smoke a little. This is completely normal and soon stops. For this reason, use the toaster without bread for the first time. After this the toaster can be used as normal.

TOASTING
NOTE:

  •  One slice is toasted more that two slices with the same setting. If the toaster is used continuously the subsequent slices are toasted more than the first ones with the same setting.
  •  Check that the crumb tray is properly inserted before use.
  •  Press the O button to stop the toasting.
  1.  Plug the toaster’s plug into an earthed power point.
  2.  Place the slices of bread in the toasting slots. Up to two slices of bread can be toasted at the same time.
  3. Turn the knob to the required toasting setting.
  4. Low setting (position 1) gives light toasting, high setting (position 7) gives darker toasting. The middle setting gives a golden brown toasting.
  5.  Push down the toasting lever until the status lamp on the O button goes on. Keep an eye on the toasting.
  6.  Press the * button if the bread is frozen.
  7.  Press the lltti button to warm up cold toast.
