SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

The vacuum cleaner is only intended for domestic use.

Always follow these basic safety instructions when using electrical appliances.

USE
Before use
NOTE:
Always pull out the plug before changing accessories.
- Open the cover and insert a dust bag.
- Push the suction hose into the intake opening until it clicks into place.
- Connect the metal tube to the curved end of the hose.
- Fit the floor nozzle on the tube. Press the tube firmly into the floor nozzle. Adjust the tube to the required length.\
Using the vacuum cleaner
- Pull out the power cord to the required length and then plug in the plug.
- Plugin the plug.
- Start the vacuum cleaner by pressing the power switch.
- Adjust the suction power with the control on the vacuum cleaner.
- Switch off the vacuum cleaner with the power switch when you have finished vacuuming.
- Wind in the power cord by pressing the rewind button. Always hold on to the plug when winding in the power cord.
Overheating protection
The vacuum cleaner is fitted with overheating protection, which switches off the vacuum cleaner in the event of overheating. If the vacuum cleaner switches off as a result of overheating, pull out the plug, put the power switch in the OFF position, replace the dust bag and clean the filter. Allow the vacuum cleaner to cool for about 1 hour. To start the vacuum cleaner again, set the power switch to ON.
MAINTENANCE
Changing the dust bag
NOTE:
- Switch off the vacuum cleaner, pull out the plug, and wait until all moving parts have completely stopped before carrying out maintenance and/or cleaning.
- Never use the vacuum cleaner without the dust filter bag.
- It is not possible to close the dust container cover if the dust filter bag is missing, or is not properly fitted.
- Change the dust bag when it is full.
- Release the hose by pressing the buttons on the end of the hose and pulling out the hose.
- Open the front cover.
- Lift out the dust bag.
- Put in a new bag.
- Close the front cover.
- Replace the hose.
Air outlet filter
- The filter will eventually become dusty. This is quite normal and will not affect its function.
- Release the outlet grille over the filter by lifting its back edge.
- Take out the filter.
- Insert a new filter.
- Replace the outlet grille over the filter.
- Do not expose the filter to heat. Replace the filter when the suction power deteriorates.
Motor filter
The motor filter is located in the space behind the dust bag. Remove the
filter and wash under running water at regular intervals. Leave it to dry at
room temperature before use. Do not expose the filter to heat.
Transport
The vacuum cleaner can be carried with the handle in a vertical position.
