SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  •  For household use only.
  •  Never use the appliance for anything other than its intended purpose.
  •  Do not use the appliance outdoors.
  •  Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type plate.
  •  Do not use the appliance if it is damaged or not working properly, or if the power cord or plug are damaged. Take the appliance to an authorised service centre to be checked, repaired or adjusted.
  •  Never leave the appliance unattended when switched on.
  •  Keep the appliance under careful supervision when it is used by, or near children.
  •  Pull out the plug when the appliance is not in use, and before replacing attachments or cleaning.
  •  Do not use accessories other than those recommended or sold by the manufacturer. The use of other accessories can result in fire, electric shock or personal injury.
  •  Remove accessories before cleaning.
  •  Do not put the appliance on, or near a hot stove, or in a hot oven.
  •  Check that the power switch is in the OFF position before plugging in the plug. Switch off the appliance with the power switch and pull out the plug.
  •  Avoid contact with moving parts.
  •  Keep your hair, clothing, hands, jewellery and other foreign objects away from moving parts.
  •  Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid – risk of electric shock. This can result in personal injury and/or material damage.
  •  This appliance can be used by children from eight years and upwards and by persons with physical, sensorial or mental disabilities, or persons who lack experience or knowledge, if they are supervised or receive instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance and understand the risks involved with its use. Do not allow children to play with the appliance.
  •  Do not allow the power cord to hang over the edge of a table or worktop, or to come into contact with hot surfaces.
  •  Never modify the plug in any way. If the plug does not fit the socket, contact an authorised electrician.
  •  Service must only be carried out by an authorised service centre.

USE

  1.  Wash the whisks and dough hooks before the first use.
  2.  Insert the whisks or dough hooks in the electric hand mixer. The dough hooks differ, and the dough hook with the washer must be inserted where the dough hook with washer symbol is shown.
  3.  Check that the speed control is in position o and insert the plug in the power outlet.
  4.  Start the mixer at a low speed and gradually increase to the required speed. There are 5 different speeds to choose from. The electric hand mixer runs at the highest speed when the turbo button is pressed in.

WARNING!
Never put utensils in the bowl while the electric hand mixer is running.

  1.  Never run the electric hand mixer for more than 4 minutes at a time. Allow it to cool for 20 minutes before using it again.
  2.  Ideally rotate the bowl while whisking for the best resu It.
  3.  When you have finished whisking, put the speed control in the off position (position 0) and pull out the plug.
  4.  Scrape off any food from the whisks/dough hooks using a rubber or plastic scraper.
  5.  Release the whisks/dough hooks by holding them in one hand and pressing the release button with the other.

NOTE:

  •  The speed control must be switched off (position 0) before the whisks and dough hooks are released.
  •  The electric hand mixer can stand on its end during pauses in whisking, but the speed control must then be in the switched off (position 0).

MAINTENANCE

  1.  Switch off the mixer, pull out the plug and allow the electric hand mixer to cool before cleaning.
  2.  Wipe off the outside with a damp cloth and wipe dry with a dry cloth.
  3.  Wipe off the power cord, if necessary.
  4.  Wash the whisks and dough hooks in warm water and wipe dry with a dish towel. The whisks and dough hooks can be washed in a dishwasher.

WARNING!
The appliance must not be immersed in water in water or any other liquid.
