Congratulations on your purchase. You have selected a quality product. The instructions for use are a part of the product. They contain important information about the safety, use and disposal of the product. Before using the product, please learn about all the safety information and usage instructions. Only use the product as described and for the specified applications. If you lend the product to someone else, please also give all the instructions.

Intended use
This OUTDOOR BLUETOOTH® SPEAKER (hereinafter referred to as “product”) is a consumer electronic intended to render audio transmitted via Bluetooth® or a jack lead connection. This product is splash-proof (IP X7).
The built-in rechargeable battery allows for cordless operation. The product is designed for private use, must not be used for commercial purposes.
Any other use is considered improper. Any claims resulting from improper use or due to unauthorised modification of the speaker will be considered unwarranted. Any such use is at your own risk.

Wireless interference

Turn the device off on airplanes, in hospitals, service rooms or near medical electronic systems. The wireless signals transmitted could impact the functionality of sensitive electronics. Keep the device at least 7.874 in (20 cm) from pacemakers or implantable cardioverter defibrillators, as the electromagnetic radiation may impair the functionality of pacemakers. The radio waves transmitted could cause interference in hearing aids. Do not place the device near flammable gasses or potentially explosives areas (e.g. paint shops) with the wireless components on, as the radio waves emitted can cause explosions and fire. The range of the radio waves varies by environmental conditions. In the event of wireless data transmission, unauthorized third parties receiving the data cannot be excluded. Lidl US LLC is not responsible for interference with radios or televisions due to unauthorized modification of the device. Lidl US LLC further assumes no liability for using or replacing cables and devices not distributed by Lidl US LLC. The user of the device is fully responsible for correcting interference caused by such unauthorized modification of the device, as well as replacement of such devices. The RF Exposure Compliance distance is 5 mm.

This product does not contain any parts which can be serviced by the user. The rechargeable battery cannot be replaced.

WARNING

  1. Do not place burning candles or other open fire on or next to the product.

  2. If you notice smoke or unusual noise or odor, switch the product off immediately and remove the USB cable.

  3. Do not throw the product into fire or expose it to high temperatures.

  4. Do not cover the product during use or charging.

  5. Only charge the battery in dry environments, since the product is not splash-proof.

  6. Check the product before every use! Discontinue use if any damage to the product or the charging cable is detected!

  7. Sudden temperature changes may cause condensation inside the product. In this case, allow the product to acclimate for some time before using it again to prevent short circuits!

  8. Do not operate the product near heat sources, e.g. radiators or other devices emitting heat!

  9. Do not try to open the product! It has no internal parts requiring maintenance.

  10. DANGER TO LIFE! Keep batteries/rechargeable batteries out of reach of children. If accidentally swallowed, seek immediate medical attention.

  11. DANGER OF EXPLOSION! Never recharge disposable batteries. Do not short-circuit batteries/rechargeable batteries and / or open them. They may overheat, ignite or explode.

  12. Never throw batteries/rechargeable batteries into fire or water. Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries/rechargeable batteries. Batteries should not be disassembled, crushed, punctured, opened or otherwise mutilated.

  13. Avoid extreme environmental conditions and temperatures which could affect batteries/rechargeable batteries, e.g. radiators / direct sunlight. Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mucous membranes. In the event of contact with battery acid, thoroughly flush the affected area with plenty of clean water and seek immediate medical attention.

  14. This product contains an integrated battery that cannot be replaced by the user. The battery may only be removed or replaced by the manufacturer or his customer service or by a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazards.

Before use

Before use, verify the package contents are complete and undamaged!Place the product on a level, even surface for operation.

Charging

  1. The integrated rechargable battery must be charged prior to first use.
  2. When the integrated rechargable battery is drained, there will be a notification sound signal every 2 minutes and the LED 2 will blink red. The integrated rechargable battery should then be charged as soon as possible.
  3. Depending on the volume and the age of the battery, the operating time of the product is 10 hours of music playback when fully charged. Open the socket cover 4 then insert the micro-USB plug of the charging

Using the product

Press and hold the button 8 until the LED 5 flashes white slowly and a signal tone sequence sounds. The product will now attempt to connect to the playback device (e.g. smartphone or computer).

Establishing a Bluetooth® connection:

Remove all plugs from the AUX-in jack 1 before you attempt to establish a Bluetooth® connection.Switch on the playback device and make sures its Bluetooth® mode is on. On the product press and hold the button 6 for 2 seconds until  the LED 5 flashes white slowly and a signal tone sequence sounds. The product will now attempt to connect to the playback device (e.g. smartphone or computer). The product identification on the playback device will be “SBL TW10 A1“. On the playback device “ACCEPT“ the connection. Please note the requirements of the software on the playback device. Once the connection is made the LED 5 flashes white briefly once every five seconds and a signal tone sequence sounds.   The maximum range of the connection is 32.8 ft/10 m, but this may be reduced due to the geometry of the space (obstructing furniture, walls, etc.). The playback device must support Bluetooth® standard 5.0 otherwise you may not be able to use all the functions.

Functions of the buttons

–  Press and hold for 2 seconds to switch the product on or off .

–  Press briefly during playback to pause or continue playback .

– Press and hold for 2 seconds to disconnect the existing Bluetooth®

connection and the speaker activates pairing mode .
| –  Briefly press to pair two units before they connect to an external Bluetooth® playback device . A signal tone will be heard if pairing has been carried out successfully . The two speakers now work as stereo speakers .

–  Briefly press again to break the current TWS connection, a signal tone will be heard .


| –  Press briefly during playback to increase the volume, one beep will sound when the maximum volume has been reached .

–  Press and hold during playback to skip forwards to the next song in the playlist .

| –  Press briefly during playback to decrease the volume, one beep will sound when the minimum volume has been reached .

–  Press and hold during playback to skip backwards to the beginning of song & press and hold again backwards to the previous song in the playlist .

Start a playlist on your playback device.
The product has 5 buttons and these control the following functions:

Connecting via the AUX-in jack

  1. Once the AUX cable 13 is plugged into the AUX-in jack 1 , the Bluetooth® wireless connection will be disconnected. Music playback is now switched to AUX-in only and the LED 5 lights up green
  2. If the product is off, press and hold the button 8 until the signal LED 5 lights up green and a signal tone sequence sounds. Switch the playback device on and start playback. Adjust the volume on the playback device to the highest possible volume then adjust the volume on the product using the 9 and 7 buttons.

Switching between AUX-in and Bluetooth® connections

  • To resume music playback via Bluetooth® connection unplug the AUX cable 13 from the AUX-in jack
  • The product will then search for the previously paired playback device (if any) and re-establish the Bluetooth® connection automatically.

TWS pairing

  • another device via Bluetooth® to pair the TWS function. Press the button 10 on one of the products which will then by default set it as the “master“ unit. A beep will sound. When pairing between both products has been carried out successfully, the LED 5 of the connected “slave“ unit stops flashing and a sequence of beeps will sound.
  • The “master“ unit LED 5 will still be flashing waiting to pair with the playback device. Once the “master unit“ has successfully paired with the playback device both the “master“ and “slave“ units can be played and controlled synchronously during Bluetooth® playback mode. Press the button 10 again to break the TWS pairing connection, the LED 5 on the connected “slave“ unit flashes and a signal tone sequence sounds.

Handle band connection

You can attach the Handle band to carry the product for outdoor use. Reference below diagram for the installation position.

Cleaning

  • Switch the product off and remove all cables before cleaning.
  • Only clean the outside of the product using a soft, dry cloth!
  • Do not use solvent-based cleaning agents, abrasives, harsh cleaning solutions or hard brushes for cleaning.

Storage during non use

Store the product in a dry environment when not in use. Protect it from dust and direct sunlight. The rechargeable battery needs to be charged regularly.

No Bluetooth® connection
Error operating the product. If necessary, unplug the AUX cable 13 from the AUX-in jack 1 . Switch the product off and on again and increase the volume. Playback device error. Check to see if the product was detected by the playback device. Disconnect the playback device and pair the speakers with your playback device again. No music playback via Bluetooth® Error operating the product.  Check to see if the AUX cable 13 is still inserted into the AUX- in jack 1 , if it is remove it. If the product is switched on, turn it off and on again. Press and hold the button 6 to start a new connection to the playback device. Increase the volume on the playback device. No music playback via AUX-in connection Error connecting the AUX cable 13  Reconnect the AUX cable 13 to the playback device.  The volume at the playback device or at the product is too low and has to be increased.

IP Disposal
Dispose of the packaging through your local recycling facilities and in compliance with all federal, state and local regulations. Please note the package markings regarding waste separation, indicated by abbreviations (a) and numbers (b), meaning: 1–7: plastics / 20–22: paper and cardboard / 80–98: composite materials. Contact your local waste management authority for additional information on how to dispose of the used product.To help protect the environment, please dispose of the product properly when it has reached the end of its useful life, do not throw in the garbage. Information on collection sites and their opening hours is available from your local authority. Never throw batteries in the garbage. They may contain toxic heavy metals and must be handled as special waste. The chemical symbols of heavy metals are: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. Used batteries should therefore be disposed of through a local collection point.

Three year limited warranty

  1. Damage, breakage or inoperability due to defect.
  2. Damage not caused by normal wear and tear or failure to follow the safety and maintenance instructions provided in the user manual.
  3.  Normal wear and tear of the product, including fragile parts (such as switches, glass, etc.);
  4. Improper use or transport;
  5. Disregarding safety and maintenance instructions;
  6. Accidents or acts of nature (e.g. lightning, fire, water, etc.);
  7. Tampering with the product (such as removing cover, unscrewing screws etc.)
  8. Consequential and incidental damages are also not covered under this warranty. However, some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
