Safety

  • The sprayer may only be operated by people who have read and understood the user manual.
  • The operator must always use a mask, safety goggles, gloves and wellington boots when working with chemicals.
  • Never allow the pump to operate without liquid – dry running will damage the pump.
  • Always fill the sprayer with liquid through the filter – sand and dirt will damage the pump and block the nozzle.
  • Set the sprayer on a stable and level surface when filling to ensure it does not fall over and liquid does not spill out.
  • The sprayer may only be used with spray liquids.
  • Flammable liquids must not be used in the sprayer.
  • Acidic or base-containing liquids must not be used in the pump.
  • Pay attention to toxic vapours and wind direction.
  • Do not spray onto people or animals.
  • Remember to switch off the pump when carrying out maintenance.

Starting up

  • Charge the battery.
  • Fill the tank with water.
  • Mix the spray agent (follow the supplier’s instructions).
  • Switch the pump on at the switch and the spraying can begin by pressing the handle on the lance.
  • The pump pressure can be adjusted by turning the pressure adjustment knob.
  •  After use, clean the sprayer by flushing with clean water. Spray the rinsing water over the treated area.
  •  Remember to switch off at the switch after use.
  1. The height of the sprayer handle can be adjusted by loosening the adapter, raising/lowering the handle to the desired height and then re-tightening the adapter

  2. Places the shoulder strap in the fitted tray intended for this.

  3. If the sprayer is desired to be used as a knapsack sprayer, loosen the two fitting screws on the trolley.

  4. Lift the sprayer from the trolley.

  5. Adjust the shoulder strap on the sprayer before use.

  6. To adjust the pressure on the pump, use the adjustment knob at the side of the on/off switch. The fuse holder and charger socket are fitted under this

Charging

  • Plug the charger’s 12 V plug into the socket on the sprayer.
  • The LED lights red.
  • Plug the charger into the socket.
  • The LED lights green once the battery is fully charged.

Maintenance

  • Fully empty the sprayer of liquid if it cannot be stored in a frost-free location.
  •  If required, run coolant through the sprayer and allow it to remain in the sprayer during winter storage. In addition to making the equipment frost-free, coolant also has a lubricating effect on the pump’s diaphragm and gaskets.
  • If the sprayer is not to be used for a longer period of time, ensure that the battery is charged every three months.
